EB boss damage: are you kidding?

EB boss damage has jumped by considerable amount. This is ridiculous as you, GREE, are driving away new players because they will be unable to complete much of EB, nor contribute to the guild portion beyond the first day or so. The 40% sale on gems only convinces me, a top 25 player, that gems will be needed even for seasoned players to complete EB.

Once again, changes made to game are not consistent with being a suitable challenge to players, but are a total disregard for gaming fun. Yes, this is supposed to be a game for fun. Looks like more players will look for other games to have fun with, like Rival Kingdoms.

That's what I have so far. Last EB level 10 needed 209 damage. This time 3880
Level 15 went from 418 to 5858, that's a 1300% increase!
Level 27 went from 1543 to 10,476. Only a 578% increase

GREE, ARE YOU INSANE.
Sirius, please look into this and see if this is correct.

And if this is the kind of EB that has different bosses, that start with lower Health, please let us know before more peeps quit this game.

Another fail. KILL RAID BOSS AND NOW EPIC BOSS. What damn enjoyment can any of us have with this ever changing insanely difficult changes to the game. The best two events and back to back you morons ruin it. Just a matter of time. You did the same in modern war and I am thankful, stopped playing over three months ago. 6 accounts gone just like that. I guess for KA I will need to consider the same for these 6 accounts after 2-3 years of baffling experiences. Unfortunately not a single representative takes it to heart on the customer service side of the issues and the complaining.

However , how does making an event so difficult that 90% of your player base will have to stop 1/2 way into it help our player experience or your reputation and bottom line .

125k for level 85. hahahaha. I thought I had a fairly decent account with gold hit around 7k. To even finish that level, I would need 18 gold hits. If I live by the timer, I think I max out at 21 gold hits over 2 hours without gems... yet, with 65 levels to go... plus (maybe?) a legendary portion as well... what's the point!?

I am going to, instead, take this opportunity to do a little wagering on the greesponse options: 1) watch the Gree Mensa agents try to explain this away as a reasonable evolution of the game or 2) completely ignore their player base. The early action in Vegas is on option 2 as a 2:1 favorite, so get your bets in early!

This was the first war since long, long time i did not finish top 300. This will be the first time i will not buy gems with 40% sale. 1 or 2 more month like actual and i will leave the game.

This requires an answer. People are quitting as you have managed to turn every major event into an obscene gem grab. It really got bad with the last raid boss that needed 3 mountains of gems to complete the associated ILTQ to get the good prize.

Now you ruin epic boss. What makes it worse is many people spent real money on fancy equipment in order to make epic boss easy. Now they must spend mountains on top of that investment just to finish normal. They feel defrauded.

If you are going to treat us like that just pull the plug.

I thought of bringing the new pack sale and short 40% off sale to Apple, but decided against it. Instead I will forgo my old box addiction and save my gems for when Gree decides to stop events. Unless Gree against all odds decides to rectify this situation. We are still anxiously awaiting an answer GREE! End the game if that's what you ultimately want...sure some refunds will be requested, but you won't stop that. So many have quit already and deleted the game. Undoubtedly, they won't request refunds. Either fix the game and get onto play as normal (as normal as you've made it the last few months) or just stop all events. PLEASE make a decision!

I believe that the peep who is giving us the Boss health numbers, can regenerate for 2 hits in @ 3 minutes. Pretty nice health Regeneration. Too bad GREE decided to make EB challenging for the fastest regen in the game, while most of us need 7-12 minutes, or more, for another 2 hits

My job as a player moderator is to moderate the forums: make sure the Forum CoC (http://forums.gree.net/announcement.php?f=30)is followed, help when I can, pass issue info and feedback to the staff at GREE HQ... basically be a player advocate.

Of course I'm not going to fix anything, lol! I couldn't code a pixel if I wanted to!

I'm a player just like you, and that's why I care to be a moderator.

About the rediculously high RB health, it is what it is.
Kill what you can, and play your own way with or without gems: whatever makes you happy. It's a game. :)

Yeah, "Job Payout" is a Crime City (CC) term. In KA, it should be "Quest Payout."
I'll let them know about this happening again.

The CC EB health is set up differently so there is (hopefully) no way to confuse CC & KA EB health when coding the event. CC still uses attack stats for EB, and there is no equipment or Hero stats in CC.

After spending a few years and a bunch of $ on this game I was able to run through the EB legendary with just a couple free hits on each boss. Saving me time not stuck w my nose in my device. Money and effort I thought was well spent. Then GreeDY decided to change the event and it took me 12+ gold hits to take down legendary bosses. Ouch. But I went along with it and bought the new equipment and got myself to a point where I could take out legendary EBs with 3 gold hits. More money spent but again, a time saver so I can balance my KA addiction and real life. It also kept me competitive in other events and war. Now GreeDY decides either on purpose or through ineptitude to increase the EB health exponentially so it just takes mountains of gems to finish. The $ previously spent to get my account where I was happy is now wasted and it's to the point that only a few dozen players can finish the event because of their insane permanent Regen bonus. I am completely disgusted with GreeDY. Shame on you for ruining a once thriving and fun game.

So many people feel ripped off. I had a few people in my guild that went gem free about two months back. This time they decided to dip their toes in and buy packs for epic boss. Now they see the equipment is worthless without huge dollars. They feel cheated and swear they will never be fooled again. Same with Gree changing prizes after the gems are spent. People feel cheated.

Why do you need to screw with your happy paying customers. I see no business advantage here. Just stupidity.

I recall being very impressed if somebody had the unit for killing 50 bosses, as it took lots of dedication and time. I remember members of the original FUN war teams sitting at their devices and attacking twice everytime they gained 26 health for days trying to finish the Epic Bosses for free. After coming back to the game a few months ago, I saw tons of people finishing the epic boss events for free. It would take me 5 free hits to kill the level 100 boss (before this one) which is a tad silly and really just a boring grind.

With this current boss, there are some nice rewards along the way. I am currently on boss level 81 and have enjoyed getting rewards like 6 of the 1000 gem chests for completing 10/20 of the quest. Yes, it would take many thousands of gems to finish, and then to finish the legendary portion; which to me feels similar to the 3,000-5,000 gems it used to take to finish the early epic bosses. I don't really see the problem in this. Consider the rewards for other quests. We basically get an easymode PvP event (compared to the original ones with 1000s of attacks required), most people can finish at least normal of the PVE LTQs, and sometimes heroic guild LTQs. I'm not sure if we want to win the top prizes of every event for free, but that's never been part of KA.

It seems like the main thing people are frustrated with is spending money to buy the equipment packs, expecting $100 over several months to make this part of the game easy mode. But $100 has never carried you that far (besides some of the recent EB before this one). The point of this game is that you spend money and work and get a stronger character. Ideally, the developers finely tune the game so that your increase in capability advances slowly. The game completely breaks if you get dramatically weaker. It's really that simple.

Quantum. I agree with some of what you said. The point is - to go from 50k to almost 500k for an end boss kill tells me the folks at GreeDY are either clueless or think we are lemmings. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. The mass exodus of players and $ players who will never spend another dime backs up my position. My gold hit is 10,297 after spending way too much $ the past few months to get to that point after the big EB change. My regen to full is 40 minutes after many years of events and wars. Break out a calculator. Do the math. The event is foolish now.

While I agree with some of what has been said, I do find myself rather frustrated that after 3+ years of playing, boss health increases way past a point of where I can complete very much if it. In fact it's so bad, it takes me back to where I was in my first year. I have worked hard, as have many others, to develop enough to be able to complete goals. This won't happen now so it's basically the dangling carrot routine where being able to finish a task to get that carrot simply never comes.

You are right about one thing....participation along with spending money is optional & I opt out of this one for both. I'm happily enjoying some extra free time outdoors & with friends. I encourage others to do the same....it's quite liberating.

Rutty just hit on another point, maybe with out knowing it. GREE has now a long history of not testing new data or changes to events causing among other things horrible server slow down, quests that can not be played at all, or dramatically increased requirements that were not intended. These events were fixed. Why not think this is one of those?

The lack of response I guess is as good as saying that GREE is happy with how this one turned out. If so, I am SHOCKED but believe this is the first time in a LONG time that they rolled out an event that didn't have a bug!

This is the first time since the very early days that I have not completed Legendary. I am fine with that as it gives me time back for RL and saves me money. The end goal of a relatively small stat until with 8% quest payout is simply hilarious. If they made it health regen or Heath increase, I would probably have done it (and I suspect others may have tried as well). Oh well. Their choice and our gain!

I also remember when the EB first started . It sucked , everyone except top 50 futon farther than boss 20 . There is a reason gree changed it. I have no problem with making the boss stronger, but gree over did it . Only the big spenders will finish . The rest will go as far as we can on free hits and move on . Gree will not admit to a mistake, nor will they proof their events before sending them out. Gree scrambled to salvage their team of whatever and has stopped with feedback threads and Q&A a while ago. Moderators accomplish what they can.
If I had purchased packs for my hero, I would have expected their value to last a lot longer.
Let's face it, if you are not playing for free by now, you are throwing your money away. Even playing for free has become mundane and simply a task to help your guild mates. There is zero chance to even come close to catching up to anyone.
Gree is testing the gaming extremes. They either test in a dying game how long folks are dedicated to friends and guild OR stupidity in shelling out money for ultimately nothing.
To all of the remaining heavy spenders, please think about donating half of your months normal allotment to a charity! It will mean so very much more!!

I can't imagine that Gree would respond by admitting that this EPIC health increase was an error on their part as this would admit responsibility,
they may fear the possibility of having to offer players refunds.

Stating that the event has gone as planned and that there was no error, would tell the player that they have no respect for the customer base.
It would also sound even more ridiculous than when they told us that the Epic boss released during the middle of a war was as intended... and that was stretching the truth way too far.

I honestly think that no one is spending gems on this EB. The health is so outrageous, that it's impossible to finish for most. I understand that the peep who provided us with the health info fully regens in @ 8 minutes. That means 5 hits every 8 minutes. He has spent zero gems on this event.
Unfortunately for most of us, we don't have anywhere near that kind of health regen.

I firmly believe that GREE messed up this EB, but doesnt want to admit it. Just like that EB during the war was "intended" but never repeated.

I guess we'll find out next cycle, since GREE is silent.

I regen every 6 min , but frankly am not going to spend the time hitting all these bosses . I'm on level 50 and its like I'm killing a legendary. I was pretty busy this weekend so at least I know I didn't lose much ground to players near my attack . Plus , I won't get the next level as quickly without the 50 extra boss kills I usually do. Of course , it was fun getting to 100 while it lasted .

Do you regen fully in 6 min (a full bar)? Or, do you regen fully in 24 minutes?

You guys are making me jealous of your regen times. I only regen a full bar in 50 min. This EB is torture. Well it would be if I was actually doing it
