Box event up but no boxes are dropping

Wouldn't it have been nice to start the the trials quest now?? So we can get box drops : I killed multiple enemies at crossroads and zero box drops :

you need to kill higher energy mobs, look for mobs that need 50+ energy per hit

for example maleba island huts, one or two huts destroyed and you get 1 or 2 boxes

Maleba Island huts no longer works for me. I just gets server error and lose what I have gathered. I currently hit Carcharhin Beast in Giants Alley for a nearly 1:1 drop rate on boxes.

Maleba Island hut gives me a server error, too.

I killed some NPCs from the last LTQ and got a box finally.
The low-XP, regular NPCs were not dropping boxes for me.
