Since I was crushed in my quest to become a Moderator, I am trying to seek fame and fortune (not in that order) by doing something else- i.e. Creating a Thread which gets "stickied."

Perhaps this could be a place where newer or dumber players (like me) might post questions to which they want answers but do not necessarily feel like starting a thread

So for the first Stupid Question I can't believe no one else wonders about:

"What the HECK do the gold arrows (always pointing up) next to 'prizes' indicate?"

If you see arrows then the item will boost your stats. Take a look in the store and you will see the items without arrows that dont add up to your stats.

I don't think NAMING the thread "Stupid question..." would encourage players to ask questions.

Or would it?

Stupid is as stupid does.

I have bought these items and my stats didn't move at all.

You may have a point, but IMHO the newer and or dumber players like moi might be reluctant to ask it in a thread labeled:
Cool player Queries...
But who knows?

Careful. According to grimmy, GREE doesn't like queries.

It's easy to be reluctant about asking questions in this forum. More often than not you will be made fun of or insulted for not knowing the answer already. You've read plenty of the forum, not so nice at times.

I think that's 'cos Gree broke it in the last update! :D

That's true only in theory. In reality, gree puts these arrow next to every useless item on bundles, just so that people would buy their crap. It's pure deception.

NEW STUPID QUESTION
While innocently trying to check out the Limited Edition Equipment Deal referenced in another thread by a guy whose avatar looks like he spends life sunning himself (can't recall name), I accidentally bought the entire set.
Obviously I had enough gold on hand (purchased in the last war in which my crew totally wusses out so I spent very little).
Buying the set was a matter of accidental thumb placement.
Still, I don't know if the fates guided that thumb.
I feel certain I'm not the only one playing this game who has, at times, a rouge thumb- and this accidental thing happens in other contexts as well- buying, upgrading, etc.

What could/should one do when this incident of an accident happens? e.g. Will a ticket without any "proof" of the claim make a difference?

Thanks for anyone's attention to this error made by hundreds a day.

Send in a ticket & tell them to take their craps back & return your gold to you. First time offender doesn't usually get a hard time from gree. Multiple "oops I hit the wrong button" tend to go ignored.

It happened to me once on a very laggy started up. I didn't even see I'd bought the item but all my gold was gone.

It took a ticket and some follow up, but I got the gold back for the item.
