Yea, yea I made a thread last week asking which Republican you support in 2016 I know, but this is different. You take the quiz and it tells you which candidate who's policies you most identify with. In the poll I made last week I only made it between the most popular picks for the Republican nomination. This quiz includes most of the Republicans and 3 Democrats.

I haven't been following Santorum at all so I'm surprised by how much I side with him. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz are my favorites so it's a good sign to see them in the top 3. I'm surprised it told me I side the most with Donald Trump on immigration since I don't want to build a massive wall across the border.

I was surprised by some of the questions on there.

Should employers be required to pay men and women, who perform the same work, the same salary? What is this the 1900s?

If they're not, then those employers are stuck in the 1900s. Would you be happy if you were doing a job and found out you were being paid less than someone else doing the same job, for no good reason?

Martin O'Malley 59%
Mike Huckabee 51%
Rand Paul 46%

I'm not one to speak about politics, but Bernie Sanders as a Senator is a very real person with solid values. Guess I need to start paying attention to what direction he is going in towards presidency.

Ok. Took the quiz. Not the results I expected. Must start paying better attention to who is what, providing there is any real certainty to any of them. I Dislike politics.

Well at least the democrats can stop complaining when republicans accuse them of being socialists, right?

I bet you answered that women should be paid the same as men for equal work, right? OMG Bernie Sanders believes that too!

Not that it matters, but for those who are curious about their "results," consider this...

The questions are drafted by the author of the quiz. They're biased.
The correlation (if any) between the answers and actual policy positions or political beliefs of the candidates are determined by the author of the quiz. It's biased.
The weight given to the questions in determining the results is determined by the author of the quiz. It's biased.

The actual beliefs of the candidates are far too subtle and nuanced to be categorized by these simple questions. For example, take that "equal pay" question. Obviously every candidate believes in "equal pay for equal work," but my guess is that the author believes certain candidates are opposed. If you ask yourself which candidates, and why he believes that, you'll go a long way toward realizing the results of the quiz say more about the author's political beliefs than yours.

I'm guessing if everyone's being steered towards Bernie, there's a reason for it.

I won't vote for any career politicians because they only care about their jobs and nothing more. I will vote for Carson, Fiorina or Trump.

How do you know when a politician is BSing you?

When his lips are moving.

Enjoy your political alliances, and I'm sure the next election will solve everything if we just put the right people in there with our vote.
