WD match up's is it really that hard?

just doing my 2nd war, and feel sorry for opposition, I'm solo with few minis to break walls, ok I play all 5 casual my miniest is lvl44 with 15/16b my oldest 282 2.6/5.9t I just got matched against 1 player lvl 10 yes TEN with under 500mil stat!!
1: Is it that hard to match up factions?
2: SUP & Pheonix better watch out cause when we meet it will be epic or ultimate !!!!!

Participation has drastically declined.
In fact, participation has been falling dramatically over the last six months.
Check the individual leaderboard to see just how few tappers are participating.
The last time I check, the lowest individual scorer had 120 points and was sitting at 35,000th place, bottom of the scrum.
The lowest faction score showing on the leaderboard showed a mere 2,536 points sitting in 2000th position, DEAD LAST.
Let's not fault THE GREE'S matching aldorithm for the matches.
There just aren't enough players to get more even matches after the first 300 or so factions are matched.
Our little faction of nobodies is sitting safely inside top 100 after only four faux battles.
No sir, there just aren't enough of us "dead enders" left any more.

1 battle, 4 out of 30 showed up. 11k points and ranked 1100. On a side note, the faction size doubled this cycle as all the old members that had gone on to top 100 or better factions had enough and came back.

wd has long turned into a joke due to teams merging(they have no choice no new players) and so many players retiring. I find it ironic how top 100 used to be a respectable position that required some gold and full active 60 man roster to support. Now I have a few awesome team members a ton of minis and about 20 medium to active players holding same position as we always have. in past we would of been lucky to hold top 500. That is the status of game in simple speak. Fl is now becoming more important then fl. This wd I wanted to watch the battle between kys/sup(kill your self sup(should of done that long time ago) and phoenix. figured with the merge freeing 16 long time members of sup and godfather not in picture(vacation retired removed so many rumours) this would of been phoenix's best chance ever.. but even that is a bust as kys/sup has a solid lead already and gap isn't shrinking.. wd is no longer the key to mw it used to be. but then that is just my opinion

I have never seen such a drop off.

Today while in second place we matched a 1 man faction that scored zero points against us. Had a defense in the billions and as I recall had zero points for entire WD!! Like it was his first declare!!

get used to it we run across that too frequently now or get faced with supu... and are more and more 1 man factions popping up on the grid.. after all why join a team when one man can make top 1500 and get a couple rewards without depending on others

Gree will feel it in their pocketbooks. We are 75th with less participation than it took to get 250 back in the day.

Yup did 1 battle with each of my factions. Got 2 two man factions against my 14 and 7 player. My main 14 player did hit a 14 player that we decimated. Considerably less participation yet again.

Also just coz I'm 'in the top 20k' indy. doesnt mean I'm active, just means I'm in fact that has declared*. I've been away and havent tapped once. So just becuase there are scores down to 40k doesnt mean they are active, then remove minis........and how many are left?

*well ok it means I'm in a fact that declared and I was attacked and won........ but you get the point

we are a faction of 37 and are in a match with a faction with one member with defense of 445. looks like he has quit to have such a low defense.

One 500/500 unit per faction, declare and you've ruined an hour for maybe 25, 30, or 50 people. What mischief could be caused if you had 10-12 accounts, sold off your junk, dumped your allies, created a one unit faction for each of the accounts, and declared for WD. What a hilarious idea!!!!
