Hiya all is this a error as this wrapper prize for the 8/10 goal is +5% upgrade cost when it should be -5% upgrade cost. Meaning you pay 5% more for a building lol

Bump. Wondering as well. Is it a superficial error or will it really make the cost increase? If I get it tonight I will take a note of my bonus change and report it in this thread if I remember to.

There were too many complaints about there being nothing to buy with in game cash. Enough upgrade cost boosts and that should be the end of that.

If anyone was still wondering, it was superficial, or only the shown text. The actual percentage change is for the negative

Just did it. Prior to completing my bonus was -15%. After completing -19%. So in my case +5% is -4%. Go figure

-15% = 0.85
-5% = 0.95
0.85 * 0.95 = 0.8075 =~ 0.81
0.81 = 19%

These bonuses are multiplicative not additive. The more you get the less effective it gets. Thus you can never reach 100%. Otherwise bonuses like -100% upgrade time would be fun :)
