Nvm, it's aka prosciutto...

Who has applied for the mod position?
I finally applied this morning.

I wonder when we'll find out who they picked.

Don't worry, we'll have an answer last month Friday.

I did, and I officially nominated you, and possibly someone else. I am getting my debate speechettes a tad TOO polished, which of course is terrific, and they'll love it, but they were fantastic to begin with.
What the heck ever happened to the great debate?
Oh, in a PM Evan told me he had applied, but while I didn't mention it, I don't think he's 35... I mean 18.

Not gonna lie, I'm kind of loving the lack of green text, silly threats, and locked threads.

With the lack of civilian community moderators abound, this forum seems almost normal.

Let's not rush to change that please.

I totally agree. When a mod does their job well, it will seem like they are doing nothing at all.

I'm going through the list but we got a good 30+ folks so far. We should have things sorted out sometime next week.

I thought Evan was 17 years old not 18 years old.

Yeah Sirius has always been blue being an Administrator to distinguish them between us, Moderators, and (Community Managers).

I used to type in red until CJ told me not to. :p

How about just the 'report post' or 'report thread button' flags someone at Gree and we don't need a community mod?

OK? Seriously, when was the last time a community moderator did something good for the community?

There already is a Report Post feature... see that little triangle icon in the corner? But, it hasn't worked since they overhauled the forums about 1.5 years ago.

Bolt posting the winners lists without us having to beg after every event. That was good while Bolt lasted.

He worked for Gree, same as Tadaah, who was awesome.

They were not community mods from the player community, who get a green text and don't know any more than us.

The report button over the green text please, all day every day and twice on Sundays.

Vile Lynn

Yeah, Piano... That IS the problem. It looks as if you are sending a report, but nobody gets the report for some weird reason.

I went rounds with Clementine and Relic in PMs about it, but they could never figure out why they were not getting the reports. Relic thought one of the player moderators were deleting the reports before they could see them, but we tested it several times... no reports and no fix. Or, Clementine & Relic were just BS'ing me, which is possible, too, but I doubt it because Relic didn't want forum members thinking their reports were being ignored by them.

They added some forum mod tools which could have disabled it or caused a conflict. I have no idea, just guessing. I've asked ToyMaker a few times to fix it... still no fix.

It is a convenient feature, and they included it when they updated the Forum CoC. (http://forums.gree.net/announcement.php?f=12) It either needs to be fixed or omitted from the CoC until it is working.
