It seems Gree does not accept any criticism on its games. Instead of fixing the game Gree removes topics without any notification!

Many wondered where the recent rise in cost of the wars came from. Prices went to the roof and are for a virtual game far from the normal spending. So how come?

Some of the more experienced players started researching asking around.

It seems some players have (re)discovered a new (old) hack, ******** Backup (****). Essential you backup your game and gems, play the war and then afterwards your restore your game. And to our 'surprise' yes the gems reappeared. So in essence some high gemming players are playing for free.

We have collected evidence and informed Gree. But as usual Gree seems to ignore our complains and focus rather on the launch of new features or developing new games then fixing serious game disturbing issues.

So we post this here in an attempt to reach Gree through their Forum. The evidence has also been submitted at Google and several major gaming news sites.

These vids have been checked by me and several other players.

Once again Gree fix these hacks and make sure they stay fixed. You may profit from these hacks as other hnest players spend thousands of dollars to keep up with these cheaters. But its ruining the game and it is extremely damaging for your reputation.

Its clear that Gree tries to do it here as well. That tactic will not work on other sites and yes we have shown several news reporters already evidence on the way Gree handles.

I didn't test this on my own. Neither did I use this or any other hack. As I stated in the now removed topic, what we show here isn't enough to hack K&D.

Those that can do that will already have done so or don't like hacking games. There are a lot of players who already know this hack from the past and don't use it. And there are sadly a lot of players using it. Sadly Gree, who already knows a couple of weeks about this hack, is refusing to do anything about it. I leave it up too you why they don't do anything to prevent this hack. Its very easy to track the hackers so I'm wondering why nothing has been implemented to ban the hackers.

I have also been personally involved in informing Gree about this "old hack" through private channels. I'm not sure it is getting the attention it deserves, because this is not a hack. This is a simple procedure that anyone with a rooted phone (which is not even hard to do today) can do in order to essentially never run out of gems. This is not a scenario where someone has purposefully altered the instruction set for the game, something that requires serious computer science skills and time. I agree with making this public. It will motivate the resolution quickly, otherwise there will be all kinds of new batches of players with never ending gem supplies.

This is not just for the highest spending players, this impacts all levels of play. If you save up a few hundred or a thousand gems from videos for a few months, you could essentially run on those until this gets resolved.

It definitely impacts the highest paying players because they are now competing with literally endless supplies of gems. Take the last war for example, the average gems used for the top 4 guilds was near 7000. That means there were 120 players that used on average 7000 gems in one event. You all can do the math on how much that is across the entire guild. It would be great for Gree if those were truly purchased gems, but with evidence like this it seems very unlikely.

Yes it does affect game play and it does drive the cost up. It does affect game play of everyone in the game. Do I have the right to demand a game that does comply with what I as consumer can reasonable expect from a game like Knight & Dragons.

Correct Marco, I quit KnD a few months ago. Its become too monotonous and stale, definitely not worth spending money on. Tbh, I regret ever spending a dime on KnD...

The same can be said about most sports.

Mostly (monetarily) worthless throphies/medals.
Wasting lots of money buying what is needed to get a higher ranking.
Doping and illegal equipment modifications instead of hacks...

Would you also object to football supporters buying season tickets, merchandise etc. to fund a team of expensive players to try to go rank 1? Throwing money at the team and cheering them on actually doesn't take more skill than throwing money at this game and tapping the device's screen...

Many people will bend over and take things up their behind, you're not one of those people Longbeard. You need to bring as much awareness to this hack as possible. Only by pressuring the devs can we really try and have them focus on this issue.

The downside is there may be more influx of hackers but in the long run it will weed them out if you keep bringing attention.

What you said was you have enough proof but you need proof against individuals to call them hackers and cheaters yet you go on and post screenshots of individuals. That's like saying 'I have proof against a gang but I need proof against the individual gang members but yet I'll just go on and post pictures of the gang members with a sign that has their name on it yet I won't bother blurring it out so that I can rant about something yet I don't make any sense whatsoever by doing what I'm currently doing'.
