So, Gree decided to increase the gem prices by what seems to be about 25%. Without any notice or statement regarding the matter. Best corporate policy ever, bravo!

They didnt make any game changing updates in ages. Then they announce something "Big" which is just another epic boss collection. They refuse to do 40% sales or holiday packs and then decide to increase prices. Lets hope grees product placement and marketing experts know what they are doing.

*edit*
Someone just brought it to my attention that the prices didnt change for everybody. Dont know if its something regional or has something to do with a game update. Lets wait and see how it plays out.

*edit2*
Increase is bigger than i thought. Rainbow pack is at 199 euros now, thats over 30% more than before.

This might be due to new VAT rules in EU. Your country taxes extra on digital goods. It's a tax law.

edit. "might"

Last evening there was an update implemented to our in-game purchases that better reflect the current Euro and British Pound currency conversion rates. Sorry for any confusion and frustration this has caused.

Very smart Gree. 8)7 Just look at your income instead of the economic situation in Europe.

I can tell you this. Prepare too loose a lot of European players

Rainbow's bounty pack cost €159,99 and now €199,99

I think that although this may sound like a paradoxon, every aspect that leads to a reduction of win-buying, garbage chest purchases and for Gree to lose customers out of frustration because of the various flavors of ripoffs is good for the game.

Well, that could just lead to them scrapping or selling the game (I just noticed Jackpot Slots is no longer under the Gree name in the google play store...) and buying a new game to slap guild wars onto... Was that what you were referring to with "good for the game"?
Dev studios might have an attachment to their games, but distribution companies such as Gree, Efun etc. don't seem to do so.
