I think 1000 gems for seven (7!) boosts is even more hilarious. Earlier when similar frenzies were more common, it was 50 gems for three boosts. That was fine and I almost always spent the needed 50 gems. If it was 100 gems for the seven boosts, maybe, but a thousand, never.
