I doubt that it truly is considered disrespectful. They celebrate with what they can. Just because some people don't like it, should not make it much of an issue. To each his own.

Plus, I doubt that anybody actually celebrating the holiday cared what the reward was as they probably didnt play much. I know I was too busy and didnt even get 1 attack in hahaha.
