android minimum requirements cancelled?

A few weeks ago I got a popup stating cc would no longer run on the android version currently on my device starting from june 1st.
My game is still running today, june 11th, I did not do an upgrade (not offered by the phone manufacturer).

Has there been a change in strategy or only a delay?

Did you upgrade CC to the latest? It might mean a new version of the game won't run on your phone. The old version would..... until they force you to upgrade.

I am waiting to be forced to update the app. Android update isn't possible for me.
