Mods: Premium match-up info please!

As war seems about to start, could we have some info on what is being done about premium match-ups this time? Will they still be used? What is being done to address the fact that different teams had vastly different numbers of legendary match-ups last times, which ended up having a huge impact on the leaderboard?

This is they way the screw top 5 in KA and probably what will happen in MW

the system will "ramdonly" give premium matches to factions that fufill 3 requierements

1- similar strenght
2- close in ranking
3- points earned

the closer to those 3 requierements the better the match , premium (1.2x points), epic (1.5x points), legendary (2.2x points)

BUT........................

in KA, top 5 barely got 1 or 2 "special" matches, never a legendary (2.2x points) even thougth they faced ALL top 25 guilds (factions)

what happended in KA was that some top 10 to 15 factions got lots of "special" matches specially legendary ones while the top 5 factions did not
the results was that top 1 and 2 had to spend WAY TOO MUCH $$$$ to keep their spots, the usual top 3 faction, decided not to follow GREE's plan, and stop spending and ended in top 6 as they only got 2 "special" matches...............many other factions did the same, they stop spending $$$ and just continue playing free regardless of what rank they would finish.

So the way I see it, SUP should NOT get any special Match, as they would never be able to meet the requierements, they are stronger that any faction, they will have way too many points more than number 2, so they should not get any special match

They do get special matches as factions I know and my old top 500 faction have faced them.

SUP could just have their guys take out each other's boost and lower their overall A/D total, hence making it a little easier for them to get better match ups. I'm sure they and other top teams have already done that. It's really a no brainer now that we all know the parameters for how the legendary matches work.


As for SUP facing low ranking factions and getting "special" matches, they and other top teams don't like it because, unless there are high level whales, they have no great targets giving up big points.
