Heroic Mode - Crystal Shadowgear April 21-28

This heroic mode goes live today at 2 p.m. PST. This armor is duel element of Sprit/Air.

Like the last few Heroic Modes, this will be for 7 days. Plan on crafting the armor before the end on April 28th.

I will do my best to craft the regular version in time but I doubt I can. I like to think that I can get a lot of fusion fodder for this one.

Honestly, one week is too short. I mean it was suppoesed to be a new feature that would make the veterans have something to keep them playing, but now it feels like fighting the Epic Boss but 5X harder because of how short it is and the terrible drop rates making it almost impossible to get the armor even if u have the best armors unless u have a pile of gems and potions at hand.

You get a stable schedule and 3 extra days for Heroic. You'll still need to gem to get the plus but it won't be an insurmountable task either.

I think is was something like at least 60% last times, but now my 3 accounts seem to average below 25% there. :(

Heroic mode should be at least 10 days from friday to next sunday so you have two weekends included.

Not trying to say Gree is up to some funny business ;) ;) but starting a blitz, epic boss and Heroic Mode on the same day is so transparent. I guess starting a day later when nothing new is happening would have been too long a wait from last Thursday...... lol They not even trying to hide it any more.

My last 3 Heroic averages ranged between 18-34% roughly.
I was delighted when my first 57 runs resulted in 11 shards.

But since then, it's been Okay. Okay meaning 50% rate :p

I agree with 'Lord P' - it looks like they are running the game into the ground and squeeze as much off as they can until the last moron will have purchased a suddenly released 10,000/10,000 fire/water armor. :D No company with a management to be taken halfway serious and with a plan to keep or even increase their customer base would treat their customers as bad and ignorant as they do.

Well, reading through google play store comments of games advertised through "free gem" videos, Gree unfortunately seems to be a very average (pay2win) mobile game company, so that treatment is more common than you would think...

Just popped in to see - if by some miracle - anyone from Gree had taken the opportunity to listen to their increasingly frustrated (albeit loyal) user base since my last go-around. I'll say I'm not surprised that they've continued to turn a blind eye to the frustrations of their long-tail players. Somewhat disappointed but not surprised.

I stopped spending real money on the game at the first signs of the Heroic Mode bait-and-switch strategy. It was a hard habit to break but having done so I am better off financially and even emotionally for it.

A game needs to be a fun and challenging distraction for me personally. Once it's run off panicked into a spiral of cynical greed and frustration it loses its place in my life.

Gree is a spoiled child rewarded with sweets and pats to the head by flustered guardians. That will not change, I'm afraid, until the lot of us turn our backs and simply walk away.

It is challenging I think that's the point. Previously, the casual gamer (like myself) was able to complete the + version within the 30 day time limit. That might have thrown off the balance of armor power, which why it is shorter.

Actually, it was meant to bring BACK the balance of power to the F2P players. Realizing this, GREE(d) shortened the event so the balance would be dissolved, so the heavy spenders can have access to the armor, while ftp players will never get even FOUR starcrystals within the time limit.

Oh, I didn't even bother with Heroic Mode, I think I can do Matha dn according to it, bothering with it isn't worth it.

I have taken it pretty easy for this one as I can complete it whenever (perm level ups)
but the drop rates are reaaallllyy terrible lol.
I had a streak of 10 back to back yesterday and that still put me below 30% for the day.

I think 35 or so fragments left, way too many level ups though for what I have. Not worth the armor at all, I must agree with Ant.

Bonesaw (2.8k/3.8k)
Tiamat (3.9k/3.6k)
Peacock/Permafrost
Stalwart+
Guardians+

Others I don't use as they cover everything

Went through a surprising streak of drop luck yesterday, so might actually get the non-plus crafting more than 24 hours before the end of the whole event...
Might try a plus run in about a month after first maxing a few armors, improving my rings and amulets (still all lvl 1 now) , noting down for myself exp vs health use for different locations etc. (also have 500+ health pots; will probably burn through most of them then). And of course need to find a weekend where I have nothing better to do than Heroic grinding...
Right now my setup only lets me do half a level of exp from my 6 knights at Heroic, so pretty short of constant levelups.

Maybe try filing a ticket to "GREE Costumer Support" or pm Clementine, Bolt, or Relic to report your canned message (if it is canned, which is a 99.9% to 100% chance) or to 'speed up' the process since they work for GREE perhaps?

The problem with your post tho, Ant, is that heroic is only up for a few more days, not months. (Which is about how long it would take their "customer support" to help him out). I hope you find the solution to this problem as you and everyone else knows filing a ticket will do absolutely nothing right now... but 4-5 months down the road they might help you out.

Well you can't blame us as the player base, I mean as Clementine or some CM stated "we recently lost some workers on the 'Costumer Support Team' ", which is to say from 3 workers down to 1 member, so GREE should maybe not be so GREEdy and not set low salary caps and at least give their 'Costumer Support' a few more workers to deal with the customer support. I mean GREE wastes their money on the programmers, not the customer support (which is there main problem, currently) and if they improve their Customer Support they can fire some programmers as GREE doesn't really add 'new features' into the game anyways.

If I'd be a shareholder, I'd fire some of the managers responsible for running down this game that much within just 1 year, and at the same time, constantly pissing off and turning away their player base, this is really the weirdest form of management and the most extreme form of shortsightedness I've seen in a long time.
Firing those individuals would certainly free up significant funds that could be used to improve customer support, game design and gradually win back the player base.

Holy ....

I got normal crappy drop rates in first few days of this heroic event about 40%. And got first 6 crystals and was looking ok to craft in time.
Then I got 6 frags in a row on the desert LV and though cool I might be able to push for plus version. Then bam gree did something and frags dried up. It's been almost 2 days since I got a frag and I'm currently 0 from 40 tries.
I tried everything.
Power hit / no power hit
Tried 6 diff areas
Tried doing same one over and over.

It just will not drop a shard and now I don't think I will even get the basic version.

What the hell is going on. There's no point putting in a support ticket cause they will not answer it.
If I try my best for rest of event and don't get the armor then I think it's time like many of you are doing.
Find another game.

I had the same problem with drop rate last Heroic Mode , KingJason . FInally I had to use abt 60 gems to get the plus in time
But this time , drop rate is fine to me , abt 40% . Since we play in the same patch , I think Gree didn't do anything . It's just abt luck :)

Don't expect much of GREE, they see you almost getting the armor for free, they turn off the switch for fragments, they see loss but not profit, fragment button off. GREE likes to see profit, they disaGREE to loss and absolutely aGREE 100% to profit and GREEdiness, so if you don't spend gems, you are sunk.

Managed to get the + Armour with 16 hours to spare this time - as opposed to 14 & 5 hours for previous two Heroic Modes . With a number of 5*+ - especially those two Element ones - in my inventory, it's made Heroic mode easier & much less stressful I find . I know not everyone can play 24/7 like I can , but I do think it will get easier for most players .

Hmm, new epic boss armor at 1518/2072 might actually be tanky enough to be worth maxing for use in heroic mode.

edit: of course after a useful epic boss armor, I now give it at least a 30% chance that one of the next 2 Heroic armors will have the same element combo to troll us, so I'll be maxing other armors before crafting this one...
