Problem killing MOB in trials

In doing a level 1 trial, three times now I have had to restart the game in order to kill a monster. I hit him and nothing happens. After restarting the game, it works fine. Anyone else having this problem?

There is another thread on this , but yes it happens to me , especially when I play my account that I started in another device before gamecenter was introduced
