View Full Version : Really?

Am I misreading this or is the case event really giving out a 12 MILLION attack weapon? Is this going to be the norm now where stat inflation jumps another order of magnitude every event cycle?

And 8% melee attack. The case's are not dropping the way they usually do though, imho.

Your stats might be half-decent again, Dippy!

I just about blew out the backside of my pants when I saw that. There can't be any doubt that any and all talk about reducing stat inflation has been 100% premeditated lying. The developers, moderators, community managers, and anyone else who has ever said anything has either knowingly lied, or had someone else lie to them.

No one can trust a word they say now.

Ridiculous isn't it? All the talk about attempting to control stat inflation has been nothing but hot air.

2 events start at the same time:

1) crate event, with first prize being 1.5 million atk and final prize has 22 MILLION atk stats.
2) LTQ elite, with a 6K (that's 0.006 million) atk reward for lvl 5 (or 6, doesn't matter).

Did the people responsible for LTQs just woke up from a coma?

If you're about to spend gold on these inflated prizes, remember the next cycle will have 50m stat prizes.

That 22m stat item looks nice. I hope they didn't lower the success rate again after raising it 3 case events ago. It actually made the case events fun.

im sure they could give us a 5 trillion attack vehicle just for logging in tomorrow and Evan would be fine with it...

That's actually a great idea, come on GREE how about a 5 trillion attack item! ;)

I'm really curious whether you even understand what game balance is or what stat inflation like this means... Your posts can always be summarized by "oh cool... Free stats!" You don't need a game, all you need is an app that displays a progressively larger number for you every time you open it.

That's exactly what I need! I saw another post in another thread about an app called "calculator", I should go check that out..

Sorry, I should cut my sarcasm. Of course I know what stat inflation is, and how it can negatively affect something. But there's a key term in what exactly you just said that makes me not care for stat inflation in Crime City, and although 5 trillion stats would be devastating to it, I don't mind a 22m attack item randomly popping up.. can you guess what it is?

Meh I'll tell you. It's "game."

A month ago this statement would have been considered as nutty as squirrel poop. It would have been as silly as me talking about stats in the trillions today. I want you to think about that, gruber.

Haha, I remember telling myself a few months ago I'd finally quit the game when I hit a billion attack, because I thought it'd be impossible. Oh well. I should raise it to 1 trillion, but I'm sure that's not far out of reach either, seeing this crate event.

So this is how you solve stat inflation.... By overcoming it with stat-hyperinflation. I like that.

looks like greedy isn't getting much love on the case events.

the stats you see is a desperate attempt to make people care a fart about the case event hehehe. guess what, i'm still not playing the stupid events. stupid events are stupid. keep attaching more and more pixels :D

I have to admit, I was tempted. Then I remembered I quit caring about stats, and once that needle goes in, it's a lot harder to take out.

I'm doing the LTQ to get as many cases as possible, and I'm not going to try to open a single one. I win.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure that any game ever invented is about getting more pixels or moving them around in a way that pleases you!

It is ridiculous, BUT recently I noticed that stuff offered in the store seems to be way lower in stats than I think it was (I'm not a big buyer of stats- I'm too cheap). I could be wrong b/c I rarely shop. Has anyone else notice this? If I'm right, I'd call it an attempt to DEFLATE stats for no-gold people, while inflating it for those who can buy a couple vaults for the heck of it

It is very disappointing to work so hard on building up Attack points over the years to have prizes of this magnitude given away in a lucky dip.

If I didnt like it, why would I want to save it? You might not realize it yet, but inflation like we saw in the last epic boss event is about the same as pushing the reset button.

Stat hyperinflation enabled people to get to a B stats. 22 mil attack weapons for a single event I think has kicked it into stat superhyperinflation. What comes next you development nimrods? stat superduperhyperinflation?

I think I'm smelling the end of my game play here. This is beyond stupid.

one minute " mods weapons don't stack because of stat inflation" then it is lets bring out heigh stat weapons? which causes stat inflation. talk about split personality . trying to stop inflaction and start inflaction don't mix at all, it is either one or the other.

Winnson
04-14-2015, 10:48 AM
Inflactions never mix.

Maybe Gree figured out the max coding and can blow stuff up to the quadrillions now.

If so, I think that's awesome.

If not, then wow, what a major derp, again.

Stay tuned and let's find out!

It doesn't matter at the end of the day. No matter what your stats are, you have lots of company. It's true if you are a level 250 with 50m attack, it's true if you are a level 150 with 2B attack, it's true of you are level 40 with 1B attack. It's like crabs in a bucket. No matter what you spend or how much time you invest, you are surrounded by people in the same condition.

I could spend a million real bucks and still not meet the stats of he highest players in the game, and it wouldn't matter anyway, it would just be different names on the feed.

It's so much easier not spending and not caring. Tickets to support? Pah. Don't need the item that bad anyway, it won't change anything. Spend money on Gold? Sam Ting.
