Has anyone else noticed Gree no longer gave HP potions as drops on the EB? One more way to make the game less enjoyable. Unless it's just me... Which I don't think it is. I noticed the same on my son's game when I was playing for him (he has all but quit entirely since the free gems disappeared).
at first, I scoffed at those who stated GREE was shutting the game down, but evidence suggests they are certainly squeezing profits on perhaps a declining fan base? Too many indications otherwise:
1) free gems gone
2) large gap between heroics
3) drop rate lowered during heroic
4) shortened heroic time
5) no more HP potions for EB
...?
im sure I'm missing bunches more, as I am only a casual player. Those changes above are geared towards forcing individuals to buy more gems.
And for those people who claim GREE needs to make money - I agree. That's what the free videos did - advertisers paid GREE money for us to watch their commercials. Plus, I could justify the occasional gem purchase when I was supplementing a decent stream. Now it would be ridiculous to spend real money when everything is so repetitive.
Squeezeing the players appears to be a calculated maneuver.
