Has anyone else noticed Gree no longer gave HP potions as drops on the EB? One more way to make the game less enjoyable. Unless it's just me... Which I don't think it is. I noticed the same on my son's game when I was playing for him (he has all but quit entirely since the free gems disappeared).

at first, I scoffed at those who stated GREE was shutting the game down, but evidence suggests they are certainly squeezing profits on perhaps a declining fan base? Too many indications otherwise:
1) free gems gone
2) large gap between heroics
3) drop rate lowered during heroic
4) shortened heroic time
5) no more HP potions for EB
...?

im sure I'm missing bunches more, as I am only a casual player. Those changes above are geared towards forcing individuals to buy more gems.

And for those people who claim GREE needs to make money - I agree. That's what the free videos did - advertisers paid GREE money for us to watch their commercials. Plus, I could justify the occasional gem purchase when I was supplementing a decent stream. Now it would be ridiculous to spend real money when everything is so repetitive.

Squeezeing the players appears to be a calculated maneuver.

Maybe it has to do with platform, free gems are back on Android, maybe the iOS (I have just assumed) is being shut down since it isn't making as much money as Android. Just an assumption.

I think I had a potion drop 1 or 2 days ago, so they are still there, at most a bit rarer.
I think I average 1 video per 2 days on android, so for me they're only half back. :(

After making it impossible for people who have a job or are in a relationship to complete Heroic mode in time, it would just be consequent to cut down on potions as well. After all they obviously don't want casual players to be able to achieve Heroic armor, especially not the plus version, even with some of the best armor you can get, simply because of a drop rate only people with too much time on their hand can deal with.

What I'm surprised about though is that potions haven't been made available for sale yet.

Maybe another factor in less video offers giving out gems is the time period u watch them, maybe u are watching them during the day so u get less videos as more people are watching, whereas watching it during the night (around 11pm - 4am) gives u more videos as not many people are awake enough to watch videos. The reason potions drop is less probably because GREE wants u to spend gems on recovering your knights (as this is possible) instead of potions so that u are forced to gem, and if u don't have many and there aren't videos at that time, then it forces u to buy some, helping GREE make profit, simple GREE logic.

My day isn't your day, since you are in America and I am in Europe and most videos the past few months seem not very geo-located. (global games with ad text/voiceover in english or some American italian food place. a few months back 2am my time used to be good for videos, now it seems to be at most 1 per day, any time of the day.)
