I've seen that there are issues on iOS with getting into the game, I've alerted the team.

Yes , just had issues with iOs (iPad) app. I fixed this issue (unable to log into the game) by just reinstalling the app.

So hit a daily goal whether updated or not and iOS player crashes and lock out. Like other posters said u have to reinstall game and avoid daily goal

You are missing the point completely.

Issues getting in to any team event at start/end which means Gree servers cannot cope with the load.

It's the same as any website as for any game that is server based. If we all try to access a website at the same time and it's servers can't handle the the number of users or their servers are not particularly fast, then it falls down.
