View Full Version : Guilds: Why can't we share items between members?

I have been playing the game for a few months now and I enjoy playing the game. I have been in my guild for a few months as well.
As with any guild each player plays differently. There are different "quests" each guild has to complete to earn XP to level up.
I would like to start a discussion about whether or not it would be a good idea to share items (other than gold) within a guild.
Items such as armor materials, fusion stones, rings, necklaces, ect. This would give more of a benefit to being in a guild.
What are other peoples thoughts?

This has been discussed elsewhere.
The two schools of thought seem to be:
1) What can it hurt?
2) It will completely unbalance the game and permit cheaters to profit from the system.
I personally lean towards #2...While i like helping new players with extra goodies early on, those who earn stuff will value it more. If they put no effort into acquiring it, they dont know what they're fusing away, for example...

As Rook said. The positive aspects get over weighed by the fact it would get abused in a huge scheme.

... unless it would be restricted to in-guild exchange of armors (no game-wide 'sale house') and guild-switching would be restricted.

Exchange for armors will benefits big alliances more. More will want to join their academy guild hoping they will have chance to promote and earns epics from those main guilds. And by restricting guild switching is unlikely.

Restricting "guild switching" is desired by those who dont switch. Since it isnt against the rules, why make a crusade against it?
p.s. I guild switch. I'm eeeeeevil. Shoot me now. ;)

How do you restrict guild switch? Even if you set 3 days cooldown time for joining another guild, people still will switch guild. And if you restrict people from guild switching, so do you restrict people from getting kick out of guild too? And you can see leechers in those top 25 guilds. Since they cant leave guild , so they can just chill and leech.

That's would in fact be very simple:
If a player has been kicked, he's on the 'market'.
Once a player has arrived in a guild, disable his 'leave guild' or 'apply in guild' buttons for 2 weeks.
But I'm sure the 'alliances' would hate such a feature http://pspnuttersinn.yuku.com/domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/devil.gif http://pspnuttersinn.yuku.com/domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/devil.gif http://pspnuttersinn.yuku.com/domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/devil.gif

If you go to a guild and find you don't like it there, why should you have to stay? When I started playing the game again it took me a couple of months to find a guild I really liked. Under your proposed rules, I would never have found it because I would have been stuck somewhere else I didn't like.
