Mid level players? How about some cash units that good. Before mid level players could buy cash and get the the top cash units and be compedative. Now unless you buy gold units or have a pvp ranking high enough your behind.
Used to be the crates were for boosting stats quick.

They are 35k for each trooper. 35k X 25 for 20 gold.

Mid level? I guess my idea of mid level must be different than yours relic. A 39k unit hasn't even played in my army for a long time. Not with they stat inflations today.

Of course this is pending further verification, but it seems that power increase is capped.
On my mini (@lvl63) there was no increase after 2000 units. With my main (@lvl207) no increase after 3000 units. 3rd base (@lvl114) also stopped at 3000 units.
