Construction bonus is not upgrade bonus. Make sure you're looking at the right thing.

I have 2 construction bonuses, yes construction, NOT upgrade. I have 4% and 2%. I get 4% and 0.02%. Oh gree does not know math very well. I reported it several times via tickets and here in the forum over the past 6 months. No acknowledgement of problem, still broken. ASAP, ha, i've been waiting 6 months.

Yes. The construction time bonus is practically worthless. Be sure to read bonus text carefully. Gree loves to trick us.

Come on Gree, enough with the chests. I just started the level 6 upgrade and got 5 dead wood chests. Those have useless junk in them. What do you want me to do, craft something worth 10% of what my hero is equipped with? I used to enjoy LTBs, but like so much in KA anymore, you are sucking the fun from it. Right now I'm staying in the game with hope for change but my patience is wearing thin.

Only thing I can think of for these costs is gree wants us to buy gold

Only 9 million for me. You were clearly outside of a guild when you tried to upgrade.
