Brand new crime city joke

Setting: gree customer on the phone with gree customer service, he is getting irritated from being pushed around by gree one more time.

Customer: why do you people keep pushing me around?

Customer service: I thought that's how people liked to be treated.

Customer: what gave you that idea?

Customer service: well this is only my first day on the job, you are actually only my second customer. But the first liked to be pushed around, if I stopped he told me to keep pushing him. I just assumed everyone was the same.

Customer: (pondering for a minute) what was that customer's name?

This joke falls apart at the part where you get to talk to an actual human being.

A better version would go something like:

Customer: *dials Gree*

Phone ringing.

Automated machine answers: If you know the extension of the person you are trying to reach, enter it now. If you'd like to hear a recording of us laughing at you, press any button.
