Why do you add big stats to boost units?

All of the boost units that anyone has are not actually in the army. Big units that have 5m stats have not effect on your stats minus the % of the boost so why add numbers to a unit that does absolutely nothing for you.
Can someone from gree address this?

Also as most people have noted the equipment bonus structure is terrible

Even if a unit with a boost is not in your army, the boost still applies to your stats. Also, I think if the big units were not in your army then you would have seen a huge stat drop. I am sure that it is just a display glitch.

I have my big units without the boosts, im pretty sure if i had the units in my army my stats would be doubled

the boosts work no matter if in army or not..how do i know? bc i have the P-91 pounder and its only 4,000/4,000k unit but the bonus is -30% Health regan..i get a hit now ever 4 min 30 sec

I know the boosts work. Im just wondering whats the point of adding stated units to a boost if there not in the army. Such as your unit you get the boost but not the 4000k power from the actual unit the boost is attached too

Before the recycle update came out and changed how it showed what units were in the army. I did not lose any stats.
You know what you can do? Go and add up all the raw stats of your top 3000 units or how many ever you take to battle and do some math to find your exact values. Then compare with the ones that show.

I just know this is one of so many issues that actually will be fix hopefully in the next update
