I think I've started enough arguments on one forum for a month.. so are there any decent store buildings to buy?

I'm at 5m IPH, I have two office buildings at level one, a nightclub at L3 and L2, an office building at L2 and L3, and two hotels at L1.

Anything I can build while I'm upgrading the LTB and the new defense building?

My goals thus far have been to max out all the crappy small builds for fun, so I think I need to change my strategy a bit.

If you've got Tapjoy gold to spare, the Gentlemen's Cub is a decent buy; Casino if you've reached the level needed.

Palm Hotel is still a good building but ridiculously overpriced now. I'd planned to get a pair of those, which would have been the last major gold spend I'd do, but highly unlikely now.

Casino is 60 mil to build, pays $900k a day on level 1 (plus bonuses)

I started building normal buildings until I got enough for movie theatres. I built 2 of them to L2, than I kept collecting and upgrading normals until I got enough for lofts. Also this time I upgraded 2 to L2. From then it was just upgrading the best building available and after a long, long time I got enough for a nightclub. Since then my IPH grew exponentionally. But, if you got enough to buy a LTB, buy those before anything else! Good luck!

Go to the money buildings. I'm at 30M IPH, been playing for a year and two, maybe three months and I only upgrade Type As now. The type As that are in the store are the gun shop, Italian restaurant, movie theatre, loft, nightclub and Any gold building. Don't use gold on buildings though. LTBs are enough.

Edit: I get my type Bs to L2 or L3, and my type As to L7. At L8, the time it takes to get your money back shoots up. I'm not saying don't go above 7; I'm saying do it when everything else is at 7. Use your discretion.

Giving me over 9M at level seven. The clubs, not the laundromats. Palm Hotel was 500G and is giving me 19M at level 7.

Again, I can't stress this enough, don't use gold on buildings. We're getting plenty of type As with good collection cycles; get two awesome buildings every three weeks and you'll be right on track.

Evan i have all my regular buildings at level 10 also. Theatres, lofts, pawn shops, ice cream shops, sushi thing, warehouse, merry go round, adult theatre, laundromats, too many to remember. Have modern lofts upgrading now at level 7 each

That isn't really quitting. I have been doing that for 2 years. It's more non-spending than quitting.

Suggestions:

None of the above. If you're going to buy a building for gold you might as well level it up as quick as you can to get the full value for the gold spent. Nothing wrong with doing that, but those buildings aren't worth their price tag anymore and you'd be better off using your upgrade time on LTBs.

The only two buildings left in store that I`d bother with are the casino and the palm hotel , the latter I won`t get due to gold cost but I will be building a casino when I reach that level . I already have offices , lofts , upscale clubs , gentlemans clubs etc and they all payout well , for me anyway at my level and are at good collection times for me (12/24) .

Thanks for all the responses, I'm going to start working on lofts and figure out a plan from there.

LTB's always come first but I was just looking for stuff to build when both of the LTB's are done building and I'm working on two upgrades.

Also, no one mentioned the condos or credit agencies or any of the other fairly high prices buildings, are those worth the build?

Credit agencies suck, I wouldn't bother. Condos are probably worse. Really awful building.

There's nothing at the store worth upgrading. I've reached a point where i have nothing worthy to upgrade. Maybe the casinos, which look pathetic next to the Tsar.

Two pretty basic rules of thumb:

Don't bother upgrading buildings you do not consider "end game" buildings (buildings you plan to keep forever).

Don't bother building any buildings you don't plan to upgrade.

There may be exceptions in some cases, but most of those do not apply once you can afford to play the LTB goals.

I don't plan on selling anything, if so my gun shops and every other small crappy building that doesn't take up much space is maxed out in my hood

I should follow that second rule of thumb, I have far too many buildings at L1

You're at, what was it, 80m IPH? I'm at 5 haha, and had a 20k IPH when the tsar's came out
