Most members jumped and started killing bosses as soon as the event started. When the syndicate portion was released, to our dismay we realized that all our kills did not count towards the 300 kill prize. To us that was a big deal!

That's why I for one, waited until the syndicate goals appeared. Others in my syndicate didn't and theirs didn't count either towards the syndicate goal. It's best to wait for all the goals or parts of an event to appear, as GREE will not count kills if you choose to not check and wait for all parts. Happy gaming, mate. It's a marathon, not a sprint and all syndicate members need to have hits towards the daily syndicate goal for the big prize. Cheers.

Syndicates were locked for the Battle for Empire City event and remained locked until the Epic Boss syndicate goal went live, so there is no way "Most members jumped and started killing bosses as soon as the event started."

Anyone who has been around this game as long as you should know that anything done for the purpose of completing goals is done for nothing if you can't actually see the goal on your list. That should be a no brainer.
