Shouldn't your henchmen be your accomplices? It seems like gree went out of its way to make things difficult for itself.
Here's what you shoulda done gree:
Delete all player henchmen, except for the ones purchased with gold. Now we might feel better about those accidental clicks... And at the same time, take the henchmen out of the store. Voila. You've already got a system in place. A familiar system.
Now, instead of introducing a ridiculous new system, create mods that affect only henchmen.
And then, disband the (H)ater's (T)rue (C)alling syndicate. I'd hate (hypocrisy, I know) for all their henchmen buying advice to end up being good advice.
