I am going to guess that these targets were being developed for a ltq next cycle and that someone working on them saved them to the live version by mistake. The bonus for us is that we didn't have to go through the ltq step by step to get them. This*would also explain why the other thread quietly dissappeared.

Possibly. It might have been part of the process in "upgrading" the loot drops from those npc's. The items dropping now are still rubbish but much better than before.

Fortunately I managed to get the three best items (building upgrade, banking fee and 10% car attack) on one account. Only the upgrade time reduction on the other, sadly.

It was fun while it lasted, like the very short-lived OG Town Car glitch (I'm sure it was slightly different name before Funzio/Gree nerfed the stats on those! :)

These Easter Egg drops happened more before, but unfortunately did not always make it to the forum.

They always do. It's as if they don't think anyone at GREE looks at their forum. These people aren't smart enough to realize that they ruined it themselves.
