So Gree finally forced me to update and now I can't access one of my accounts on my iPad. Whether I choose the Crime City normal version or the HD version it only shows the same account. Anyone else have this issue? If so, please post how you fixed it. Thanks in advance.

Happening to me too, just escalated through a ticket. Hope they can fix it because Crime City HD was my main, and now I only have my mini.

You can't, how convenient. You'll have to email them but not through in game cause you can't, and then all your device info won't show, so basically this is gonna be a lengthy process. This is ridiculous forcing people to update something that doesn't even work. If you ever need tips on how to mess something up, well you know what company to ask.

Wow, I've never been able to have 2 games on one device, always had the same game open on both versions of the game.

Hi Hulkzy:) I just registered here so that I could reply to you! lol I experienced the same issue earlier, soon after the RB event began. I hit the first 4 bosses through my main account (Bonnie), exited to go to my mini (Mademoiselle L), which is also on my iPad, but landed in my main hood! I thought that I'd hit the wrong icon, so I tried again, and then I shut down the pad twice, thinking it was a glitch with my device! I am so livid...GREEDY does it again!! :mad: I decided to contact GREE through what should be my mini account (not in HD like my main one), hoping that Mlle L's details might show up in the email. They didn't, but all of my Bonnie details were there. I gave them Mlle L's code and am waiting to hear back from them. So, anyone with two accounts can contact GREE through the one still working, and, hopefully, by sending the email through what should be the missing account, GREE will not only have your working account's details but may more easily find the missing one's details as well! Sorry for such a long reply, but I hope that this may be useful to others with the same issue!

Thanks for registering and replying. I'm absolutely livid, was about to tell my synd I quit because of this latest screw up from Gree, but now I feel somewhat comforted by the fact that I'm not the only one experiencing Gree's incompetence. No idea when they'll sort this out, but I don't fancy my chances of getting the individual part done. It's shocking that this company continues to release updates that ruin the game. I never update until it forces me to and now it looks like I'm gonna miss out on the one event I look most forward to. Goodluck to you and anyone else experiencing this issue.

Yeah, I'm fairly certain this is how things are designed to be. Having multiple accounts on a single iPad is most likely a glitch, so if you're in this situation of losing one of two iPad accounts, pick the one you want more and ask for it to be restored. There's a good chance you will lose one account unless you have a back up device to put it on.

Version 6.0 is supposed to have gamecentre login, which supposedly might allow for access to multiple accounts from a single device. Until then though, just assume that Gree support will only let you have one account on your apple device.

^^That's the answer I think.

I lost one with the recent upgrade as well. I have Classic and HD on my iPad and after the last upgrade Classic started over with a new account. HD had my old one. I figured it was an anomaly so I didn't do much with the extra mini. It was kinda fun to have around but tried not to get too attached. I think with the device connection to the game center, it wont be able to tell the difference between the two, so you will probably have to chose one. I opened a ticket to see if maybe I could keep both but I'm not holding my breath.

The mistake I made was I put the mini in charge of a sleeper syndicate, then put my other minis in the same sleeper syndicate. Now I cant access the baby account. If I can get leadership changed and gold transferred to another account I'll be happy, even if I can't access the little guy. That'll be one less account to check daily. Even if I can't get gold transferred I'm not out anything. It was earned "free" gold.

Yeah, my game won't work on my iPad 4 contacted Gree still have not heard anything. On the phone with iTunes right now. What's the point of all the money I've spent if I can't even log on my game.

This Problem happened before the update but not to the extent that it removed a player, a few cycles back i transferred my mini from the classic on iPad to a iPhone in return i was hoping for a new level 1 on the classic on my iPad but got a copy of my main from HD so Gree has known about this issue.

I guess it was coincidental, because I was on my main account in the morning on Monday, came home to the update and couldn't log in. I just wish someone official would acknowledge us or this issue and just let us know how to fix it. I am sure they can fix it, and they have other priorities right now, but even to say "hey, we got your request, give us two weeks" I would at least have the satisfaction of knowing it will eventually be fixed.

Yes same problem here my friend. I sent a ticket and just got a response last night. They said delete my game and reinstall with the new update and respond with a ss of the error if it reoccurs. Like I've not tried that many times. I've been in a t10 for most of my cc career. It's like I'm begging them to take more of money lol. If there office was not in San Francisco Id be knocking on cubicles. Even if you call there number in San Fransisco it's nothing but a rotation of two recordings.

To clarify for you, Clementine, OP (and several others) are running Crime City (standard version) AND Crime City HD on their iOS device, and until very recently they had a separate account load depending on the version of the game they opened. There was no account transfer done or even attempted, they simply had two accounts on one device. (Weird, right?)

Now one of their accounts is missing/lost, and these players have no way to manually recover the lost account. It was not lost in the process of attempting a transfer, it just disappeared entirely.

Linking their existing account or device to game center or google play will only link the account they can access, and will do nothing to recover a lost account that has simply vanished for no good reason.

Exactly! And this is what the support team cannot seem to comprehend. Absolutely ridiculous that raid boss event is almost finished and we haven't been able to access our lost account. Clementine you need to tell your "support team" to stop sending copy paste replies and actually bother reading the tickets for a change. I sincerely hope that anyone who lost their account due to this update will be compensated with the individual prize from Raid Boss. I won't push for the LTB or LTQ prizes, eventhough I and others have every right to feel aggrieved about missing out on that as well.

Good luck trying to use logic and reason. My account has been missing for 15 days now. They keep telling me how to transfer accounts which leads me to believe that they are not even reading the emails that they are replying to.

Yup that's what your support team told me and I'll repeat what I told them. I cannot see any other account other than ONE account! Anyone with an account Crime City and Crime City HD has lost one of those accounts! If you guys want to help read what people write to you! Weasel summed up the issue yet we are once again being treated with the famous copy paste suggestion. I have submitted all the info you have asked to your "support team" yet I still don't have access to my main account and now my favourite event is coming to an end where I have next to no chance of getting all 15 items for the individual prize, what I wanna know is how do you plan to compensate for this massive screw up?

Hi guys, after downloading the new update for crine city and logging in to my other player using this phone. My player on this phone is GONE and has been replaced with a new player (Alex level 1.) I have my mafia id for my lost avatar, some screen shots , reciepts for all the gold that i have purchased, account emails and previous support tickets. I want my player back! Can someone please help? I feel like quitting all my accounts if this is not sorted out soon. I am an android user and was running the new 6.0 update of this game when the issue occured.

I honestly could care less about compensation... I just want my main profile back... I replied with all the info they asked for, so let's hope for the best in recovering DannyD! Nevermind Gree, you've been as helpful as always. Giving me copy paste replies that have nothing to do with what I said. If your "support" team can't spend 30 secs to read what is sent to them then this game isn't worth playing. I'm quitting this game, so do whatever you want with my account that you stole. My understanding is that it was the intention by GREE to not allow multiple accounts on single mobile devices, and that the hd / normal crime city dual account "feature," wasn't by design. Looks like it's been "upgraded for player base enjoyment," ie. They patched it and are doing that GREE thing they do when you get screwed and they don't acknowledge the fact.

Just curious to know if anyone that lost an account on their iPad if any of you managed to get it back? I haven't and I don't really care, I've never come across a more incompetent "support team" and they even had the cheek to send me a how would I rate the support I received? LOL that was laughable. Asking me to continually send screenshots, my mafia code, my last login date, level and receipts. I've been asked that over and over again it's like dumb and dumber and dumbest 3 is out already. Go on Oracle, copy paste a reply that has nothing to do with the issue we're experiencing, make my day lol

Unfortunately I have dealt with the same thing as Hulkzy. I had Shelley and Allen both email me back asking for informations I already provided. Allen told me they are dealing with more tickets than usual, but to Hulkzy's point, if the support team would just slow down and READ what we write, you could probably get through so many more tickets and resolve issues faster. I have been without my main profile for 10 days, and while I feel hopeful that GREE can do something, I am shocked at how long it is taking. Now with the holidays, I am sure everyone will be on vacation and things will get more back logged. Please resolve my ticket. My ticket number is 2133477. Thanks.

Take heart, it took them 18 days to get my account back, but mine was one of the first to disappear because of the "upgrade". The most frustrating part was the knowledge that they don't read the tickets they are responding to. They kept sending me instructions on the transfer procedure that they had already killed. Besides, without an account to transfer, what's the point?

The list of lost accounts is long, so it'll take awhile.
