Sort out the stacking of the upgrade discount mod

So got the upgrade discount mod I have 30% already and gained the 5% which should equal yo 35 why is it 34can a mod explain Gree math

100% (no mod) minus the first mod (30%) makes your total upgrade cost 70%. 70% (modified cost) minus the second mod (5%) gives you a new upgrade cost 66.5% of the starting cost (since 5% of 70 is 3.5), and your modifier is listed as -34% because the display rounds up.

It has to be done this way or it would create the possibility for someone to acquire enough of these modifiers that cash could be earned just for upgrading buildings.

No it couldn't. 5% of zero is zero. I'm not disagreeing that it's probably right to do it this way, mind. Some consistency would be nice though. Other boost mods are applied to the base value, but this one and banking fee reduction are applied to the modified value (speaking of banking fee, do those with free banking "earn" interest from further fee reductions? Highly unlikely! :))

Nope. I don't earn any interest, I have free banking and it no prize awarded when they give away another banking reduction prize. Oh well, that's they it has been going, anyway .............

Can't help there. It arrived as a prize without me knowing how or why. Is there nothing in your syn goals?

Presumably you need an indeterminable number of wins with x nodes held :p If you choose not to play though....
