Hopefully it does not cost anything because I highly doubt Gree needs any money to support the developers
Hopefully a mod is allowed to chime in to enlighten us as to whether it will or it wont

No. it's a freemium game. They make money through in-game purchases.

However, there is a minimum level requirement for the 4 new areas; they are level locked for players with level 250 and higher.

In addition to increasing the level cap, we wanted to thank our loyal, long-term players with access to the new content.

Dude, there are no good weapons in the store. And whatever you bought should remain in your inventory, even if removed from the stores. I'm hoping they'll add at least 20k items (don't care how expensive).
