GREE:

Last week you said Update 5.0 would be released "next week," and it would solve most people's log in problems.

It's now day 4 of "next week..."

Like many people, I've basically been unable to log in now for about five weeks.

Can you PLEASE give us an update!

They don't care. Many people have asked for a daily status on this due to the severity of the issues at hand... they refused.

At first they said it was submitted weeks ago to apple and just pending approval... then they said that they found all sorts of bugs and issues with it (shocker) and needed to work them out before they could release it. Gree wont give us a status on this because they 1) cant get their story straight and 2) don't seem to care anyway.

If it is to happen, I think they plan to do it today or tomorrow before the Frontline Event starts. However, it is disturbing sign when the information on new functions using Game Centre is no longer on the Announcement page under the Menu Help section of the game. And the amount of data now streamed from the Game it seems has increased. Going to be real interesting to see what happens when it is finally launched!

When the update becomes available, we will download it. As it installs, we will begin to notice changes to our devices. Don't worry, it is just sucking all available data out of your phone. Then, as every ap, contact, and every last bit of data has been scrubbed everyone's phones will begin to melt down into a little plastic puddle, shaped as the Gree logo. Done! Another quality update!!

Someday. For sure it will happen someday. I think

I have a feeling that it will not be released before the start of Frontline.

We will be doing another weekend of people locked out, problematic loading and all other sorts of problems too many to list here.

Gree cannot even give us an estimate when they think Apple will release 5.0. It has been over 5 weeks? Did Gree not submit to Apple when they said they did? Did Apple reject it? So many possibilities and Gree not answering with any details, we can only speculate what could be happening with 5.0.

We might be getting 5.0 in the middle of the weekend when there is just a skeleton crew at Customer Service. Yay!!!

LOL! Next YEAR is about 20 days away from now. What is another 20 days to the 37 days ago when all of this started.

The update is timed for release at precisely 5.01pm Friday PST, or when the gree devs open the first Xmas party beer at the bar down the road, whichever is the latest.
-
It's linked to the lock on the Gree office door and the light switches, once the above has passed and the key is turned and all lights are off it will go live.
-
Why should Gree change their standard roll out policy now?
-
After all, it's worked so well in the past. There's never any problems when you're home with your feet on the table, beer in hand, and phone switched off for the weekend.
-
Gree - leading from the front. More customers should follow their example.
