The timer on the lockbox has been running an hour and I've rebooted 5 times but still no icon.
Surprised there is no one else complaining.
Am I missing something or does no one really care anymore?

I really dont care anymore. I want these things to start on time or something around the time. They have been doing this for 10 months now and still cant get this to work. What else do we really have to say?

I would have to say the latter. At this point an event starting on time & bug free would surprise most.

Remember the good old days when there were 10 threads started within a few minutes of a stalled event?
I suppose we can call this progress (of sorts)

Why would anyone spend a penny of real hard currency on this deeply broken and flawed lemon of a game at the moment??
-
Would all those that proudly splash their cash on this lame pig of a game keep throwing money at a broken business that consistently and completely screws them over on a daily basis in the real world?
-
I doubt it.
-
The more money you throw at Gree, the less likely it is things will improve, why should it?
-
Addiction, a terrible affliction.
-
And for what in the end?
-
Pixels and bragging rights. That's it.

Not a gold spender, but seems like they've lost over 2 hours of revenue by not having boxes to open

Wait... there's a lockbox event... Hmmm... haven't been able to log in for 4+ weeks now. How's the event going?

Yeah, but revenue will explode out of the gate once it goes live and all the addicts pile the cash in to catch up. Gree get rewarded for screwing over the customers yet again.
