Why am I able to get raided?

I'm tired of these new ridiculous ratios. I have 120M Defense to this player's 75M Attack, as well as 40K Army defense to his 25K Army attack. So why is the fact that he has 1k Hero attack and to my 600 Hero defense enough for him to rob me? I'm 4x his IPH in the 6 digits yet just because he allocated his skill points like a moron, it rewards him now? What makes sense there? HA

Players have always been able to raid players with a stronger defense than their attack. Just use the link to farm off that player for a month and they'll regret visiting your kingdom.

since a long time ago, you can always raid a player 100-300mil above you. the question is how much is the fail rate? I have had 1 in 15 success on a player 200-300mil above me. Randomness was involved.

but the recent changes has made that go away. if you fail, you fail. don't bother trying 15 times. you will still fail. the randomness is gone now
