View Full Version : Can we get some help from a mod to stop the spam?

Over the last month or so we've seen persistent spamming of the forums of the same Vietnamese message. Below are the accounts set up for that express purpose. Can we please have some action taken to prevent the continuous spamming?

Ii should just be a case of setting more than one verification answer when signing up.. Currently the answer is either "dog" or "fox".. I cant remember which

We are deleting posts as soon as we see them. I use a filter to locate any new posts by the spammers. Moderators currently have no access to ban users.

Filter for Spam > Delete > Flag User > Gree Bans

Filter for Spam > Delete > Flag User > Gree BansSo is that just tadaah or clementine, or are there other unknown Gree employees as well? I would think passing this on to the powers that be would nip this in the bud for at least a short time.

They won't be back until Monday at the earliest, but they will be dealing with WD problems that occurred while they were off and possible problems with latest "update/fix".

Of course. But since they up that stuff on the back burner anyway, this will give them something to do while avoiding the rest.

In all seriousness, this is not a huge issue, but it is one that gets annoying after time and is a very simple fix.

Just community managers and admins can ban.
Mostly Clementine and Tadaah does that..

Currently, as in: They are spending the day fighting over TV's at Walmart? Or, Currently, as in: The system does not allow for a mass-ban of obviously fake spam accounts?

As in the mods that are available to us can't actually ban any accounts, they can only tell on them so Gree can do it. But they are able to delete the posts.
