[New Feature] Heroic Mode Is Now Live!

The Dark Prince has sworn revenge and sent out elite monsters, fused with the power of Starcrystal Fragments, to destroy you. Every Month, an Event called HEROIC MODE starts and lasts for 28 days. During that time, players are able to fight against the Dark Prince's elite monsters in each area on Heroic difficulty.

- Defeated Heroic bosses have a chance of dropping Fragments.
- 8 Fragments are needed in each area to form a Starcrystal.
- 8 Starcrystals are needed to create that event's Epic Armor.

Participation Requirements:

The user must have defeated the Dark Prince on Epic difficulty and a Heroic Event must currently be active.


How to Participate:

In order to participate, users must visit areas within the Kingdom on the new Heroic difficulty setting. Within this difficulty setting, users will fight against Heroic bosses, which will have a chance to drop a Fragment when defeated.


What are Fragments:

Fragments are pieces of Starcyrstals. In each area, 8 Fragments will form a single Starcrystal. Each area has unique Fragments that only count toward that area, and can't be transfered over to other areas.


What are Starcrystals:

8 Starcrystals are needed to craft the Epic Armor of the current running event.


Crafting a Heroic Event's Armor:

8 Starcrystals, one from each area, grant the ability to craft the regular version of the current event Epic Armor. If the regular Epic Armor is upgraded to level 35, the improved version becomes unlocked, requiring 8 more Starcrystals to craft.


End of Event:

When the event ends, leftover Fragments and Starcrystals will be converted into Fusion Boost Armors and gold, Fragments and Starcrystals CANNOT be transfered over to the next event. The Epic Armor can only be crafted while the event is running and only during that event period, but currently crafting Heroic Mode Epic Armor will continue crafting when the event has ended.

I like it, small question, you say we need to get crystals from every area, but we only need 8 crystals to make the epic, so if we craft it, does that mean we cant get crystals from the places we got the crystals from to craft the regular version if we want to craft the plus version?

Just keep trying with the special. It's like any other boss...just have to get lucky with the drop.

Awesome update! It's nice that free players can (sort of) easily get epics now. A bit tougher to get the Epic+, but it's still cool. I'll be trying for the plus version. Should keep me busy during the week.

The way 4* materials are dropping, it was definately made for those in full fusion mode...

Storyline has changed over the past 2 years from "working towards the '3* storyline plus armors' you need to beat epic boss level 43" to "after getting to the location of a 'big 4 1* plus armor' to beat epic boss level 15, there's not really anything to storyline but quest gems, quicker grinding to level 100 and maybe some 3* fusion fodder" (and later grinding to level 170(?) for the extra armor slots) and now the "3* fusion fodder" comment is replaced by "unlock heroic mode".

They could probably scrap normal to epic levels of locations 9-16 and unlock Heroic at the end of Epic of the 8th location and no real meaningful content would be lost.



But it's nice to have my heroes die in adventure mode for the first time in months. I'll kill them all every time I go for a boss run.

With this new influx of epics from chests and this event, could someone please look at fusion chances of two epics together. Very rarely do two epics fused together produce another epic. It seems like the chances are the same for fusing 2 4* and getting one as fusing 2 5*. Another thought is to allow two of the same epic which are both maxed to be combined to get a lvl 1 + version of the same epic. This would allow for a slight extension on the use of older epics. Thank you.

Why shouldn't Heroic mode trigger the EB? It's set up as a normal level where you grind through minions on the first 5 stages, then the boss on the 6th. Personally, I think it's great that it triggers the EB as it means no more meaningless farming of Skeleton tombs for me. I haven't tried, but I'm willing to bet that the Heroic stage in the Kindgom of Darkness doesn't trigger the EB since each stage has a boss.

Epic is essentially a tier three Epic. Epic Plus is better than anything we can fuse at the moment. I love this new mode and since I'm a grinder, I'd be hitting these levels hard anyway for farming purposes. Can't wait until they do a dual element Epic. Bring on the Fire/Water Epic and the Spirit/Water Epic. Great job guys........

The bosses and mini-bosses (minions?) look great, the gear you can craft from their gear is an added bonus while you piece together fragments. All around an excellent upgrade!!! *hugs*

After some criticism from my side, kudos to Gree for this one - good job!!!!

Now only please raise the armor inventory slots to a minimum of 1000, as many of us can't even craft regular stuff anymore, not to speak all the legendaries that may be possible thru Heroic mode, or try an star-piece epic within the 28 days. No, melting it is not a solution - I won't melt fusion armors or 2-, 3-stars I have BOUGHT from a chest or achieved by hard work against the raid bosses. Regarding the 3-stars wise-*sses may recommend me to fuse- can't fuse them any further as they have same elements in them. WE NEED MORE ARMOR SLOTS!

I also fully agree with Scabs - while it is easy to click away an EB challenge, triggering the EB from Heroic mode is a nice feature that makes it unnecessary to beat the boring skeletons for the 5000'th time.

It doesn't seem that Special Attacks is needed to trigger drops from the Main Boss, so it is more beneficial to use it on the Minion just before the Main boss that drops the 4* material. Also the drop rate seems to be right around 50%, I've collected 30 fragments so far and I'd guess I've gotten frags on half of the kills, special attack or not.

@Lord P- remember these each last 28 days, dual elements won't be here for 5 months if they do the usual and run through mono's first.

This is very fun. The EB is taking a back seat as I am using up all my friends, but that is part of making having to make a strategical choice.

I am also guessing every heroic events will change the Heroic bosses. Which is great for recycling what you already have, and for new people to see the artwork.

Bag space issue is addressed with smelting. Not my first choice, but it gives us options.

I think this might be my favorite addition in K&D ever. Great Job Gree.

The only positive criticism I would give is to tune down the wars. My favorite layout was "Guild war, blitz war, raid, blitz war", rinse and repeat. Currently it in too frequent and to intense. Some say you don't have to participate in all of them, but as a guild master you have some obligations.

I am really enjoying this Heroic Mode. Summoning the current Epic Boss during the fights is very helpful. What I like to do is fight to summon the boss, but would keep fighting in Heroic until I am out of health. Then I would fight the Epic Boss once I was done.

That was lowered in August 2013 to become the current 75k. And even before the 200k, really old ones cost only 50k. The price hasn't changed from what it originally was. Also the crafting time has been different, oldest EB gear had it as 48 hours instead of the 72 hours we have had now for a very long time.

Because epic boss and heroic mode health regen are on different timers.
You used to farm for levels and 3* mats for fusion at KoD exactly because the locations before it triggered epic boss and KoD doesn't.
You'll run into plenty of times now when you are full health but can't run Heroic, since it will mess up your planned epic boss run or if you do run Heroic, you will have to wait 2 hours for the boss to disappear again to run the boss safely [1]. (which could mean epic boss capped at 10 energy for part of that time) There is no optimal solution for both epic energy and health at the same time.

Last 200k one I see in my armory is Assasin. (I started at Deva)

Well, the main boss is also an old epic boss. For Relic Ruins it drops mats for an antique 2* epic boss armor, for Thieves Cove it drops mats for Chit. (yay, I can craft a Chit+! ;) )
You will have 2 different drops from the mini bosses and main boss each location it seems, for a total of 32 different drops in the event I guess (haven't gotten around to the later locations yet).

Also, who cares about the EB now that you can pick and choose which legendaries to craft? If you are strong enough to do heroic mode, then legendaries are already just fusion fodder for you.

in 36 hrs I have started crafting my epic.

I used no gems, 29 potions, 17 friends.

The only armors i have used are;
Ravage Shieldplate
Chaos Vanguard
Stormwatch Raiment
Demortuis Robes
Druid

I have 7 other epics but I found the highest defense always get you further

My strat
Part A) efficiently using up you 6 players:
Pair up elements with 1st guy, 2nd guy pair up with heroic boss. redo this for a total of 3 times (duel elements can be equiped on 2 people plus your main)
Repeat on a different level where a different armor pairs up right.

Part B) efficiently using up your friends:
once all your own guys are dead, wait 5 min until their health reaches 30 and add a freind that can solo that level.
as the levels get harder add 2 of your own players with 30 health and a friend, then 3 of your own and a friend. or let them heal a little more.

Part C) efficient use of leveling up:
gauge your leveling up appropriately. Sometimes one friend and a win will get you leveled up. sometimes all you need is a round or two so putting three guys with 100 heath each can get you through 2-4 round and level up in the process.

Part D) the wild card, Potions:
5-6 potions could level you main up and solo for as many potions as you have. i personally only used them when I am out of health but too close to leveling that it would be a waste of a friend!

The next 8 for the epic plus will be much harder

Until at least the point where you no longer 1-shot everything but the final boss, the optimal armor element choices are: "be non-weak to everything, only need to be strong to the final boss". This means that in spite of their lack of 2nd guild element bonus, monos will be pretty useful for Heroic, though you still really only need 1 per element, since you can only use 2 of them for your 6 knights and you can arrange your Heroic runs to not have main knight and that element's knight in the same run.

edit: which does bring the dilemma: if you don't have a good mono epic for an element, how do you manage friends for both that mono boss and later heroic stages? Run the later heroic stages during the first 2 days of boss when you don't need 10 friends?

I think it would be cool to make a fusion boost armor that works for all 5 elements such as rainbow/omni but r easier to get like the silver chest and give 50-100 boost points please consider my idea

It only says that if you're having connection issues. I found that if I close the app and restart it works fine.

The Dark Prince (DP) stage is insanely hard if you do not want to use Gems.

I have strong armors and friends and I can only get through 4-5 rounds out of 6.

there are two simple strategies:

1) when your experience bar is at 80% go do the DP stage with your best 5 man crew. You should level after completing the 4th round. You will regain your health and be able to finish it off.

2) before you end your sessions finish off by doing the DP. get through 4/6 round with a full 5 man crew. to to bed/school/work, come back 3+ hours later and finish it off.

If i were to redo everything over I would at least get a round or two of DP per day once i got past the first 8 crystals. Saving DP for end will really slow you down.

Bosses elements are (air/spirit), (spirit/Fire), (Mono Fire), (Water/Earth), (mono Spirit), (Fire/Spirit). Strong Water/Fire friends are the best, however the water/Earth boss will take out 2+ people if you don't gauge him right.

Yeah I got the same. Rewards for each full crystal from stages I completed. Figuring it was something they have just added as rewards for completing each full crystal and it is backdating.

I've stumbled into two different bugs in heroic mode. Both involve coming back to finish a level after energy recharge and using friends.

Bug #1 (Well I hope it's a bug) On the Kingdom of Darkness stage I came back after going to bed to finish the stage and my friends armor had changed. This should be locked as soon as you initiate the stage. Trying to finish the dark prince stage with Chaos Vanguard is impossible especially when you were using Armor of Peacock originally.

Bug #2 On the Zephyr Plateau stage after coming back the next morning to finish the stage, my friend's health did not recharge while all mine did. I hope that's a bug too.

If I find anything else I'll report back.

I have encountered Bug #1 as well. In the end I beat it, but it was tighter than it should have been. It looks like if your friend changes armor during his regular play It also changes it for you! I am not sure if it is a bug though.

Another minor 'bug': if the Heroic Event is missing from the 'News' window, there is no way getting to the information window about the event anymore, displaying remaining time etc. Luckily I still remember it and what to do with the Heroic event ...but I think it may be helpful if there would always be a way to get to this nice little window displaying the fragment milestones.

I don't know if this is a bug or it should be like this but when I finished crafting the armor it unlocked 2 achievements for me.

Another minor 'bug': if the Heroic Event is missing from the 'News' window, there is no way getting to the information window about the event anymore, displaying remaining time etc. Luckily I still remember it and what to do with the Heroic event ...but I think it may be helpful if there would always be a way to get to this nice little window displaying the fragment milestones.

I know it's meant to be hard but Dark Prince level is hard enough without the ridiculously low crystal fragment drop level it seems to have. Been through at least 10 times and only have 3 fragments. Maybe it's just my bad luck :(

Today I stumbled upon this new bug!
Yesterday evening before I went to bed I did the Kingdom of Darkness Heroic with my best armors and 2 friends. Today when I woke up all my armors regained health but my friends did not... Isn't it supposed to be that your friends regain health too? Kinda screwed me over since I had to go through a another time so again a 4 hour wait. Can someone confirm this?

Blitz wars, 2-day wars, 3-day wars, 3-day raids, 2-day raids, Heroic mode, ...once a blitz war had ended, we already got a popup that the next war is just around the corner, ... it was hard for me to catch my breath, and I've already given up my job because only that allows me as a GM to switch my gear every 30 seconds during the most stressful events, your wars (now even better because rings & amulets don't 'stick' with a character, so their propper equipment have to be checked all the time).

And now today? Heroic mode is over, the next stress-test (a 2-day war, the sweat!) more than 16 hours away, no generous gem discount to tease me into your chest lottery, epic fusions still producing inferior crap so nothing to craft or upgrade, not a single raid to look forward to .... so I was looking forward to at least have something to grind with the next heroic event once I had done my routine hits on the EB and inside the arena a few hours ago, and then ....nutting? Just a big void? What am I supposed with my time now? Any self-help tips from other members about how to meet women or use my free time for other things that feel normal and adult? :confused:

I was hoping that there would be a new Heroic event when the old one ends.

I completed it within the first 8 days and spent my time farming legendary gear materials and more recently farming rings and amulets at the same time. I had a routine going when i was on the tread mill that included Heroic mode. Now it is gone.

I really, really like heroic mode for what it was intended and for the side effects it brought to my everyday game play. Even if i don't like roookey1's ironic comment, I do agree that without the heroic option i have nothing to do!

If you check the FAQ in game, it says EVERY month there will be a new heroic epic and it will last for 28 days... So maybe they are just taking a two day break before they release the next one? So maybe we will get it today or tomorrow (Friday)?

That is definitely a possibility with GREE. They could also be using a mono wind for the next heroic and are waiting until after this war to squeeze some extra cash out of people that are willing to pay for a much weaker mono wind t25 reward.

The problem they ran into was too many people got the epic+ without spending enough gems. Be prepared for either a shorter time period for this one, or harder levels to boost gem use...

I like heroic mode. But wow does it take forever to get all 16. I've got 1 left and I've already gone up 45 levels. It's slightly worse than 50% success with drops - I'm getting 40%. Which is 8x16x2.5=325 bosses. At 5 minutes a go that's 26 2/3 hours.

Even if it's only 3 minutes per run through its 16 hours.

I enjoyed it this time but is a marathon not a sprint.

Dropping Rate is horrible, what u mean u have to earn it im playing like crazy ! its not like its just gifted to us by daily login or so. It does seem to be a little bit worse than the previous times, I am two frags away from crafting the first armor, which is probably a day later than before. I play regularly and use a few potions strategically, like when I am near to levelling. Epics should not be a cakewalk.

I'm not a regular contributor here but I feel that I need to speak up on this one.

I am a decently accomplished player (level 450 or so) with a nice stable of leveled Epic and Epic+ armors.

The first two Heroic events were too easy in my opinion (and if everyone who participates earns the same Epic+ then there really is no value in having that item in your inventory).

The current event *should* be manageable - 17 days is about what it would take me to complete the task (using potions, Friends, and a fair amount of gems).

The problem is that Gree has CLEARLY adjusted the drop rate making it seemingly impossible to attain fragments.

There is a silver lining in my frustration however.

This is the first event that has really, truly made me step back and look at how much time and money I have poured into this game over the past 15 months.

I always wondered what it would take to get me to put the game behind me and now I know.

I'll need to take up smoking and hard living with all of the money that I'm saving!

Not that it really matters coming from me:

The droprate decrease, while I personally don't mind it, is pathetic.

I just completed Kingdom of Darkness after 41 attempts to get the 8 fragments.
All others took about 25 runs so far, as to the earlier 13-18.
The Guardian's crossing loved me dearly, 49 runs I think it took.

I had the WingGuard+ shards ready approx. 100 hours after the release of the Heroic. Give or take 4 days.

I think we are now 5 days in, might have lost count.
My update is that I have the Regular crafting and if I count all fragments together I have 3/8 of the second set done.

Means that, when looking at it, there hasn't been much of a change. But when you look at completing 50 runs as to compares to 15, you might as well have a progress-based system where you get 1 fragment every 3, 4, 5 runs. That way players know how much it takes.

This is clearly intended to make lower players gem it up.
Terrible move driving even more players away.
The only new content in ages and after the 3rd run people are (see post above) turning from the game for it.


Might want to listen to the players, not the wallet.

Here's my 2c on the topic.

I think the mistake that Gree made with this project was making the first two Heroic Modes too easy. For ages, people were interested in obtaining Epic armors without having to spend a lot of gems. Heroic mode was the answer, but considering the strength of the regular armor, if Gree had made the first mode as hard as it is now, no one would be complaining. We would have all just accepted that the regular Heroic Mode armor took a lot of farming but was attainable for players willing to put the time in, and that the plus version of the armor would require either very strong Epics and a boatload of time, or gems. Think about how happy everyone would have been with the regular Epic and the "option" to spend a bit to get the plus version.

But they released it too early and way too many people got the plus version. Then everyone that got the plus version expected that they would be able to get the same everytime, which is understandable. The problem is that too many Heroic plus armors will unbalance the game and Gree risks losing money on their lucrative war/raid system, so they changed it to make it harder. The reason it seems like a knife in the gut is because they gave something initially and are now taking it away.

I was always shocked that the Heroic+ was so easy to obtain. While I think it was poorly done, I think the decision to make it harder is the correct one for Gree to make. For those that are upset they won't get the plus version, don't forget that only 2 months ago you had no chances for free heroic epics. Enjoy the armors you were able to get and keep working to get better so you can get the more difficult ones in the future.

I imagine by the time they get to dual element heroic mode epics, the drop rate will be worse and we'll have a week to get the plus version. In our guild one of my guild mates today said: 'if the drop rate continues to be that bad, I'll finally give up on this stupid game.' And I can understand him. Unlike me, he has no strong epics and super-strong friends, and most people who have a real life can't walk through those stages for dozens of times every day, again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again, just to get a few 'fragments' that may or may not allow them to craft an epic in time (in addition to an inflation of events they are kinda 'expected' to participate in). The new heroic mode is something that gave many players who stopped playing or were close to it something new and exciting and a real chance to get stronger armor and competitive again, but now it turned into a full-time 'job' that isn't a source of excitement and entertainment (which, if i remember right, a game is supposed to be) but rather a source of constant frustration.

I fully agree that getting an epic should be challenging -- but extremely hard to achieve even for addicted junkies and piss the rest of the players (the majority!) off, or rather feel challenging but be a realistically achievable goal for the big majority of players? If the latter, the drop rate should be doubled at least. It would give the majority of players something to strive for (and most of them I guess would be ready to spend up to 50 gems for it, even if they usually don't spend gems!), and the junkies don't really NEED these epics anyway as they are used to spend gems and will already own epics that at least come close to the heroics (but with the personality structure most of them seem to have, many of em will still throw loads of gems into heroic mode just to show off that they 'were first' anyway... :) ).

Again I feel that Gree lacks of a long-term strategy - they'd rather risk losing half of their player base (sooner or later) just to suck as much money they can get from the remaining ones (at some point burning them out and turning them into 'frustrated, angry ex-customers'), instead of constantly increasing the player base by giving them something exciting and sucking them in and having dozens of thousands of people spending 50-100 gems a month.

In 1.5 days I've completed two stars, beginning with the first region (I started VERY late). Every one keeps talking about the horrible drop rate and I commiserated until about two days ago when it seemed to switch back to a much more reasonable drop rate. I have NOT tried to go back to front, so maybe that's still awful, I dunno.

I'm just wondering if we're all trying the same things... :(

I agree 100% with what some peeps have said in this thread, and it is that maybe the reason why people are complaining so much is because epic+ was so easily craftable in the first two heroics events.

In this game, this game has always maintained the culture that epic+s are ridiculously difficult or expensive to get, while epics can be obtained for pay or for free after you put some significant amount of work. I think if most of us can get 8 crystals with some difficulty in time, that's great. Very few of us should be able to to complete the entire game and obtain 16 crystals.

think of other epic + in the game. You can't craft it at all. If you want to win the war epic+ you have to spend at least $100 to get into the team where you can win it... and $100 is a very very conservative estimating assuming that you get the best of sales and catch a really good game currency discount deal. For the chest epic, people have cracked open the largest chest packages several times to obtain the chest epic+ that they want.. yeah once in a while someone gets lucky and gets something nice by just opening a few chests, but I would assume that on average, those who chase after chest epic+ spend way more than a thousand gems to get what they want.

heroics epic+ should not be all that different. Maybe you can get it for a bit cheaper because of the work that you ned to put in to earn it, but it sounds about right if the herioics epic+ is almost impossible to obtain for free (that is, without using gems).

The reason why epic+ is valuable is because it is rare. After one war, only 40 people max get it. If everyone had it, there would be no advantage of owning it and therefore, the inherent value of the armor would go down.

I guess it comes down to how they do the percentage........ 5/10, 50/100, 500/1000. If they allow 500 drops in 1000 runs then you could get a long streak of 0 drops. Still seems a little easier than a few days ago......... idk and I'm into the higher levels now.

yeah, I think it has been slightly increased again. As said, I think it's a good move. As long as heroic epics are slightly lower in strength than war/chest epics (or surpassed by them shortly after, as it already was the case with Heroic Finmail), buyers would still have an advantage, but the big mass of players would have a new feature that is worth investing some time and effort into.
If the regular version is achievable with some reasonable effort and eb+'es, and the plus version with some reasonable effort, eb+ and a few epics in between, I guess everyone should be happy, including Gree.

I'm getting really frustrated with this heroic mode. I understand that you guys are still working out the kinks, but the new probability of getting a fragment from the boss is getting ridiculous. I'm currently on a 14 win streak without a single fragment (stuck at 6 on Zephyr Plateau), and this isn't the first time. I have had multiple times with 5 or more battles without a fragment. It seems you have reduced the probability from the first two herioc modes. They seemed to be at a high probability due to me having completed all 16 levels in a little over a week, but now its too low. It gets really frustrating and has almost caused me to quit playing the game over the last few days. You should put the probability somewhere between the two values. Or if I am wrong about the probability adjustment, there should be something programmed in to where you get a guaranteed fragment on the 10th win if the previous 9 attempts have come up empty. It's just extremely frustrating for us players that have been playing for a long time and put a lot of time into the game on a daily basis (about a year and a half) that need good armors like this because we don't have the money to spend that some people do to get the best armors in the game. On a positive note, I do really enjoy the heroic mode over all, and all of the fun changes you have made since I've been playing. They have kept me from getting bored! Please just make advancement possible for the players that don't have a lot of money to spend on this game. I think you would keep a lot more players if you did!

But if you compare the max numbers, the chest and war +epics are all still at least 300 (usually more) atk/def stronger than the heroic +epics, and still have the edge. I've gone up against lots of guys with their maxed epic+ vs mine and they always beat me unless I'm lucky enough to be in the perfect order for weaknesses, and about 50% of the time they still beat me. So people will still get rewarded for paying money, at least people that put in the time can finally get something worthwhile. It took me almost a year before I was able to fuse my first epic, most people would've quit by then. It will still be fair to every level of player, but it will keep a lot of people playing longer. It gets really hard to stick with a game you can't win at because everyone else has a bunch of money to spend and you don't, and there's absolutely no way to compete. When they reduced the time, I thought no big deal, they're trying to make it harder which makes sense. But when the drop rate cut at least in half on top of that, that was overkill. Pick one or the other, that will make it harder, but not drive your customers away hard.

I understand the frustration at the lower drop rates, but y so much rage? They cant just make it easy to get an epic+, u do kno thats the strongest kind of armor rite??? If u put in enuf time and effort u will get all 16 shards, I already did (altho I went thru about 200 potions)

Only 4 shards left to go on haunted citadel to get my Epic+. I'll get there but it was much more of a grind fest this time around. I have no problem with the shorter time but damn that drop rate got frustrating! It's a real downer going 15-20 runs to get maybe 1 shard. In saying that it is still an Epic+ that cost me nothing but some potions and a fair amount of time and effort so can't complain really.

I still have 5 zones left to go and at this drop rate will not finish by the end of the event. The drop rate is really bad since I get an average of 1 to 2 crystals a day. No where close to the 8 per zone needed to craft anything.

I agree the heroic epic+ should be difficult to obtain, the first one especially was too easy, but it should still be free for many people to obtain. That was the whole point of heroic mode was to give active (active, not everyone) players a way to compete without shelling out money every weekend. The regular epic was the bridge between EB+ and the usable epics, and the epic+ bridged the gap between usable epics, and the new chest/reward epics.

This time around, i will probably not get the + considering the lowered drop rate and reduced time to complete. Although some are say the drop rate was readjusted, i am still regularly going 10-12 runs without a drop. I am lv 250, occasionally buy gems, have 15-16 maxed epics, very strong friends (and have been using them for heroic over EBs), and play this game for at least an hour every day. I will play 2-3 hours+ on my days off, and I make an effort to find more time during events.

The heroic epic+ should absolutely be obtainable for someone like me, in my position in the game, yet it is not. I would urge Gree to make adjustments for the next heroic event.

Much harder than last H Mode. I can play 24/7 but only managed to start Geoplate+ crafting LJ last night. I'm a GM & think I'm only person in Guild not to give up on the plus - it cost me 70 potions & about 35 Gems. Dark Castle was a nightmare - 30+ runs for the 8 Fragments. As others have said, a happy medium between the two would be good. Another update is needed to fix the 'problem' I think?

I don't know, but either I got very lucky suddenly, or they upped the droprate today. Before today I've got max one shard a day from the DP Castle (doing up to 6 runs a day), but today I've got four last shards within 12 hours. Lucky me who, has a Geoplate+ in the works now :)

My friends are "unavailable". Heroic mode is "locked" every time I open the app. When it does finally come up, the drop rate is incredibly low. I have over 1000 pieces of armour from two of the zones...I fought over 16 times in a row (that's when I stopped counting...it was making me very frustrated.) before I got one freaking shard. Why in hell did you shorten the time by 10 days??????? I have blown off the bosses, the last guild war and this current raid to finish heroic mode. I don't even want to think about the amount of gems I have already used just to come up short. Why the shortened time????

Can't believe I did not see any mention of it in the forums, but for a short time in your armors you could see the new epic heroic armor. It was visible and were only missing 8 fragments to craft it. they patched it out though....Mono fire!

Yep, it was mono fire I saw in my armorsmith yesterday so I assume the actual heroic mode will be live very soon as the revealing always happen beforehand (correct me here if I am wrong).
