Dear GREE,
In order to increase competition in guild wars, here is what you should consider doing:
1. Identify the individuals from the anti-rainbow alliance (IOS) or anti-DK (Android). You should know how to do this.
2. Offer them 80% discount in gems
3. Offer everyone else 0%-20% discount in gems.
4. Just watch the money coming in

I haven't played this game in many months. I was a member of the top tier Rainbowers. I'm glad to see Rainbow is still #1 and even more glad to see there are still idiots like this.
TARD list anybody?

Wouldn't that give raise to a hue and cry from those not able to access the 80% gem sale? GREE's not stupid...

For me, it's better if Gree almost never gives out larger discounts - protects me from buying!!
This and last week, for instance, the best offer was a 30% flash discount for 2 hours, right now a 20% promo started that will last for a total of 3 days, with the usual minimum of 2-4 days without discounts afterwards, meaning that I won't have to deal with any temptation to buy gems for 2+ weeks. Combined with the "8x-close-to-zero-chance" for getting anything else other than fusion fodder spam out of their chests it saves me a good deal of money I can use for other stuff. Imagine a scenario where they would give 40%-50% discount once a week and a sure chance of getting at least 1 epic out of every 10 chests ... people would buy too much as it would be worth it for many. I like the preventive approach Gree is (probably unwillingly) applying.
It is bad for the gemming guilds and players, but great for the ones who find the exchange rate of the virtual gem currency of the game vs. real currency too bad and the chances of getting something in return for their investment too slim. If you look at it from that angle, it is protective for the addicts and supportive for the ones of us who have to work hard for their money. :p

I just hope GREE gives non Rainbowers 100% discount for 12 hours because i am sure the gem rate of buying would go up and Gree would be happy except the fact that they arent making money but getting buy rates up. Isn't it genius?

Sooo GREE should give away all it's profits to non-Rainbowers? Erm, why? Especially since the top ten guilds--including rainbow and it's allies--spends an insane amount of money on this game? (Truth be told, there are many spenders outside the top ten club, too!)
If GREE ever did a 50% discount across the board, they'd do a brisk business, and no diss to any group. But they don't need to give away their profits; people will equally pay out on a 40% discount, or heck, even a 20% if the prizes are good enough.

I suppose you are correct but GREE probably like buy rates a little but more then money since buy rates can let them show it to more big gaming companies (Mojang, EA Sports, etc) and probably make a more decent profit since GREE can also brag and get more deals to create games for those companies for more money( games that they make that can give them 80 million dollars), and maybe even join those bug gaming companies.
