8x for which Epics? There are different %'s depending on how new it is. Why do you mislead us?

Hey now, if they say there is a 8x chance to get Epics, even if it is only a select few, they didn't mislead anyone.

If instead they said "8x chance on ALL Epics" then you'd have an argument. You'd think by now, you'd know its all a ripoff regardless of what they offer.

You are misleading yourself. Multiplier is not the same as percentage.
If at 1x chance for a new epics is for ex. 0.001% and for an obsolete epic 0.01%, then 8x would increase that to 0.008% and 0.08%...

And one thing you've missed is 8x chance for legendary AND Epic... Meaning they actually could have lowered the epic chance, raised the legendary chance to compensate and still have it come out as 8x chance.....

So you'd end up with lots of legendary but very few epics.... Oh wait that's EXACTLY what's happening for most people pulling this chest.

There was quite a few epics pulled in my guild from the chests. I opened 8 and got peacock and some leg and three stars

I got Tactician Regalia+, Ravage Shieldplate, Firestorm Vanguard, and Beastmastrer+ from 40 chest.

My guild mates also picked up some great armor from the 8x chest. Some of them even picked up some newer epic plus armors.

I already wondered how many posts it may take until the first ones
a) jump at their keyboard, posting how many top notch epics
they got out of <insert 1, 11 or 40 here> chests in only 1 run
b) defend the oddly twisted, some may call it 'intentionally misleading' labeling
of chest chances for strange & funny reasons and telling us how happy we should be.

Lol, roookey1, I just assume that nearly all advertising by big-ish companies is crafted by lawyers to be deceptive, but just staying short of them risking getting slapped with a lawsuit... ;)

edit: and in KnD chest's case people seem to read things into the multiplier marketing term that aren't there...

I opened 4 x 11 chests more 5 chests individual

...and no epic.
just old legendaries...

I've had very good luck with this new chest. Opened 11 chests got 6 legendaries, 2***, 2** and Spectre's Shroud. First Epic from a chest. Opened three chests on my gimp account and got a legendary and Drudic. My second Epic from a chest. I hope the chests continue to go in that direction.

I opened chests with the gems I had left over after war and was pleasantly surprised. Pulled a few good epics and a ton of legendary that I used to fused a few more good epics. Can't complain. Guess I was wrong earlier.

Ive seen people get 3 epics from 11 more than once this week. So sad im out of gems now haha

They say it is 8 times but I bought 80 chest and I only got 4☆ and lower.

Finally a decent chest. I have the worst chest luck usually and pulled 7 epics (inc 2+) from 73 chest plus fused a further 5 with the ton of legendaries I got.

Opened one chest and got Magebane.

I opened the 11 chest option. I received one Dragonborn Aegis, one 3*, and nine 2*. I am happy to have obtained the Dragonborn as I have never received anything better than a 2* before. I was hoping to do a little better, but that one epic has extended my desire to play (I was about to quit!). I have probably fused 40 4*'s in the last 2-3 weeks and received garbage.

Lol yep... There's a reason they are releasing them like crazy right now. I'll wait for the next tier of armors that they're getting ready to release :D

I agree... More than ever it seems the next tier is coming soon... I suspect we will all work our backsides off for this heroic epic only to find the new tier released a week later.

Even if they come out with new a week later they still help with world bosses and raids

Yeah, but that's fine, Epics will be relevant for months still, not until they've all been replaced with whatever is coming. Just like for the first 6 months of epics being out, 4*+ armors were still very useful and competitive.
