Its just an experiment for this month they are trying it out along with two day wars

If you don't want to participate, don't participate. What's the big deal? You are losing nothing by not participating. They are not replacing weekend events.
I for one could not be more happy. Not only is there something extra to do during the week (if i have time , and want to...), but its more prizes whether you place well or not.
I work in the restaurant industry, and have my days off in the middle of the week. Not everyone works a 9-5 and has all weekend to play. This is a win/win across the board.
You people will complain about anything....

What do you mean..... you people!?!?!
But really, this is a bad idea. I'm glad that you are able to participate, but the vast majority work on Thursday/Friday. Also, which people are forgetting, is this means armor wars every weekend. Two very bad things about this.
1. Epics will be released much faster, in other words, your new shiny epic is getting outdated much faster than before.
2. Over-saturation. Long story short, players will "burn out" very fast due to this schedule.
My personal favorite would be all on weekends like before, Epic War, Blitz, Raid, Blitz. With blitz being the standard 1day, and armor wars sticking to the 2day schedule. Thoughts?

I have to agree with B Legit! Shortening wars and raids by 1 day and separating them with 1 day fusions wars would be great for me!
I don't mind. I have school so I'll probably only participate in like six or seven battles but still... it's just a fusion blitz. It's not that important. It's something to do during the week.
There's also only going to be two-day wars during the weekends this month, which should be nice. Mondays are always tragic because of school and people work as well.

They are probably trying to capitalize on the fact that many people get extra days off work and school for the next 2 months. more events = more gems spent

Maybe it will mean the same guilds aren't always winning as they might get more selective about which events they do.

Agreed. I work ALL weekend EVERY weekend, quit complaining that you work cuz i work wednesdays too lol, if you can play the event do it, i for one love that there is a mid week event. Even tho i work, no different than any other event for me lol. Yes i have the luxary of playing at work so there is less to complain about but still, there are tons of ppl able to participate during this event just cuz YOU work doesnt mean everyone is unable to do anything on weekdays lol

Thanks for all the feedback on the new Fusion Fighter's Blitz event. As a couple folks have mentioned here, this is something new that the team is trying out. We have heard from a number of folks that they would like more to do during the weekdays, hence this event. Additionally, we want to give a chance to participate for those who do not have an opportunity to participate on the weekends.
Just a friendly reminder, please remember that just because you work/go to school Monday through Friday and have the weekends free, does not mean that everyone does. Knights and Dragons has a very vast and varied audience.

Fair enough. I welcome more events .. equals out the field a bit and gives a chance to those who actually work on weekends!!
I am known for my complaints about the false advertising on chests - give your paying customers something decent they can feel happy about, but don't offend them with de-facto 'blanks' or outdated epics -, but everything that involves an evolution of the game itself, more more more and thank you very much!

Maybe I'm speaking out of turn here but, I don't think the issue Is having something mid week, I think the issue is that it's AND not instead of....
If we had a calendar function or event announcement more than 24-48 hours before event that would be nice. It's when these changes catch us by surprise and unprepared that it's an issue.
Better communication BEFORE the change would go a long way to smoothing things over I think.

Yes AND instead of OF. Like I said before, blitz midweek is fine, I get why some people like it. But having armor wars every weekend is not.

But having armor wars every weekend is not.
actually it wouldn't be bad to have something like 'constant' wars, I would like to see the ever-same top 10 guilds buy their way on top to that! :D It would even out the playing field a bit more.
On a side-note, right now, wars are boring, as reaching the relevant top 25 is not possible without massive gemming. They are not a game anymore, but a gemming competition (who is willing to pay more for a sprite). From there to #500, the rewards are pretty similar, so it doesn't make a real difference for guilds whether they end up at #27 or #499. That's why I prefer the raids - at least you get bigger (unfortunately only in terms of the sheer number, not quality) rewards for real engagement.

Even before guilds got implemented into Knights and Dragons, people here on the forum warned that "guild war gemming competition" is a thing Gree puts into all its games.

Yes to events on weekdays, two day wars or 3 day wars is ok, but if they are to have events every week or multiple times a week they should tell us in advance on a calendar, so we could plan out as a guild. Add a little more strategy in the game.

Myself and members of both guilds I belong to (iOS and Android) were happy to have a mid-week event. Thank you Gree.
In the future perhaps you could consider a mid-week Raid Boss type 1 day war with the guild rewards being the same fusion boosts and the individual rewards being the same as a typical Raid Boss. This would be beneficial to both the players and Gree as players that may be trying to upgrade their new shiny armor before the weekends main war would spend some gems for the individual rewards for the gear. Just a thought.

Necroing this thread because it's time to revisit. This has gotten to be too much. Heroic mode, 2day war, fusion war, arena, epic boss. Too much to do.
Anyone else feeling this?

I think this rotation is best. Keeps everyone on their toes. I doubt this will be permanent, as this was supposed to be just for 1 full month to test.
Guilds in the past have been too quiet during weekdays.

For me it feels fine as well. Wars felt endless in the past with 3 days duration, but 2 days are okay.
Raids - I'm happy with them whenever they come, 2 days or 3 days: fine with me! A 3-day one would be nice again as long as nice rewards are waiting on the way.
Generally, I'd wish for better rewards in regular wars. Why not extend Blitz wars by 1 day but also give fusion boosts and some other stuff? Right now, the rewards for spots #26-500 are pretty much the same: outdated epic armors. As it is only fusion fodder anyway, it does not make a difference for a top 500 guild to invest more effort just for the plus version of the same fusion fodder, or 1 2-star fusion fodder more.

Too much to do? Nah, i like getting on and having something to choose from to do. Before these changes it was get on, do EB fight, log off wait 2-3 hours, rinse aand repeat, whereas now i can get on and spend more than two minutes actually playing the game.
Unfortunately i don't see this having the "evening things out" effect roookey 1 is thinking it'll have, it's almost like guilds like DK win the lottery every week, lol. But i guess we will see what happens

We are a top 50 guild and we have recently made the blitz wars gem free with no mins. It is the only way to retain people with the overloaded number of wars. We view it as free fusion boosts mid week. put no real effort and still get 6-12 fusion boosts, win-win.

Midweek blitz is whatever, but now more than ever the guilds are feeling the oversaturatin effect. People aren't excited for war anymore, it feels like a chore. Please Gree go back to the old schedule so we can spend 3-4 days between wars getting excited for the next.
Or if you insist on midweek blitz, LESS ARMOR WARS, for the same reasons I stated above. Armors are becoming obsolete at ridiculous rates already, and people ARE burning out fast.

I totally agree about having armor wars/ raid every week. While you can choose to not partake in armor wars the inflation of stats is at such a high pace if you do decide to sit out you are going to have weak armors pretty quick. This is why it leads to burn out. You feel like you HAVE to participate to keep up. Feels like a job instead of just for fun.

I don't know about you, but I haven't gotten a new Epic since the Blazestone, or maybe one of the Chromatic armor wars. Its been a while, forgive my memory. I can still solo through EB's to a healthy 17-20ish, and defeat many new epics I've never seen before in Arena. And yes, I still rock my Tect+, my fancy Cloudrange+ and Forgestone+ regularly. The stat difference isn't game-braking.
Also, the line where you said "You feel like you HAVE to participate to keep up." That's your addiction calling. Gree used it and abused it, but it doesn't want to let go. I suggest you DO take a couple weeks off and see if that addiction still sticks around. Burn out was cool back in the day when they it was a consistent war/blitz/war/blitz alternating every two weeks. What they have now, besides being ridiculous if you're doing it all, is trying to cater to everyone. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING!
Seriously. Addiction is a hell of a drug.

Buster your lack of playing in any of the events is showing. Try meeting minimums in a raid with your tectonic and cloudrange lol. Going to be expensive for you. Sure you can win in an EW where you can match elements. I also can with my EB+ from a year ago.
This game is ALL about stats. There is no skill whatsoever. Saying otherwise is silly. Stat inflation is a real thing and the pace now is ridiculous.
Besides, you don't know me from Sam bro. Talking about whether I am addicted or not is pure conjecture. Where is the moderators here for personal attacks? Lmao

Yeah, I don't know you from Tom, but when you say you feel like you HAVE to play in every event to keep pace... that is addiction. Ever hear of "Keeping up with the Joneses"? If its not an addiction, then what makes you keep feeling like YOU HAVE TO participate? I'm curious. Enlighten me.
And clearly you don't know me from Harry either. If meeting minimums is going to be expensive for me... I don't bother. That's why I quit. I'm not spending money on a game that could close tomorrow and I'd have ZERO to show for it. I wasn't about to keep plunking down a couple hundred every war to hit a 100k minimum and such. When I have requirements to meet for a game, its not longer a game, but a job. I played, did my part, and when I felt it was out of hand and became a job, I stepped down. You probably don't know the guy, but I had a lengthy convo with ol Eun about it. When others wanted their chances to move up to the #1 guild, I stepped aside. But enough about me.
You sit out for an event or two and you'll have "weak armor pretty quick"? Really, they release a new epic every day? Because I know I sat out what was it... 3 or 4 guild wars and still was able to come back and GM a top 10 win with my previous other Epics. Sure, they have more events, and more often now, but please enlighten me, how often do they ACTUALLY release a new armor? Again, no one, two, or even five armors are game breaking. You might not do well against EVERYONE, but you can still do pretty darn good against most. You can still play can you not? Oh wait, you can't play up to the level that you FEEL YOU NEED TO. Guess you'll just have to spend even MORE money to hit that minimum for next war just to get another new shiny epic that will be replaced, by your time frame, in about 4 weeks. Does that sound right, or are we both exaggerating just a little much here?
Also, I never called you names or attacked you. I simply mentioned addiction. I would gather most people with a basic understand of these games know that they prey on people with the gambling addiction and compulsive spending. So pardon me for logically thinking that if you are already feeling the need to play in order to "keep up"... you're already more than hooked, or day I say, addicted.
"Ohh, gems are on sale! Buy some now so I can get that at a deal! Ooh, new Epic, let me try for it. Darn. One more time. Okay, just once more. Okay, for real this time, just this one last time. Damn. Is that sale still on?"

First, learn to quote properly. While I love reading my own stuff again, I'd rather just skip to what you post, since you're responding to me. I already wrote it, and proof-read it, I don't need to read it again. Also, if you don't care enough to look over your own posts, it makes you look like a bad forum member. A little effort goes a long way.
Second, if you notice, I come back in spurts. Its like being a regular at a bar. Gosh, there I go bringing up restaurants and bars again.
Let me explain:
You go to a place all the time, and you're comfortable. (playing the game/being on the forums)
You stop going for whatever reason, it doesn't matter. (retiring/leaving the forums alone)
You go back and say hi and see whats new. (picking up the game and playing/seeing whats new on the forums)
Going back to a place you used to frequent is not being an addict. Staying and NEVER leaving is being an addict. Forums is not the game btw. I'm just here to say hi and see whats new. At the suggestion of a few people on here, I did pick up the game. I rather enjoy some of the heroic mode stuff, the raid bosses are fun for a TINY bit... but I'm not in a big guild like I was, I gave up LINE so I don't have any ties to anyone that I used to play with, and well... I don't care enough, or play the game like I used to. That is my difference. I DON'T HAVE TO. I'm not an addict. I don't feel the need to "keep up with the Joneses" like others here do.
Now granted, leaving the forums for another month or two like I have in the past would prove I'm no addict, but... where would the fun in that be? I'd have to find a bunch of new easy targets. And why waste time doing that when you guys make it so easy every time I come back?
