View Full Version : K&D PvE, epic armors, lvl cap...

I play this game loong enough to remember Moon was an EPIC gear, BV was unstoppable force and Tec unbreakable wall...DP map was a challenge even for the experienced player.
What hapend in K&D?
New content means easy to get low lvl/quality armors to lvl up those new epics which are given away around every corner, or somewhat easy to fuse even from non+ EB armors.
EB did go t harder to defeat I noticed, but still not real challenge to speak of.
LTQ now means do what you doing anyway (defeat the EB) but do it a tiny bit faster, RAID as new feature makes no sense to me neither as you do not need RAID group to defeat the boss, if you keep up with your EB+ to be semi up to date (skipping one combo is OK) you can take the creature down your self. (it is a great source of lvling materials as mentioned earlier)
With your main hero lvling up you get to have more armor slots...great! you can pile up more junk armors.
New PvE content is non-existing...WHY? New map? New challenges? New achievements?
If its too difficult to come up with NEW why not at least refresh the OLD...crafting a Kaleidoscopic Starmetal Raiment was near impossible task years ago because of the cost for chests and the drop %, now this useless armor is still there as achievement (and still impossible to craft cuz the parts simply don't drop anymore), how about changing the goal to new armor,?! that just like Kale would be the ultimate craft-able gear (and update it every so often)!!?

I'm pretty sure there is still some good in the game, maybe it is just me that doesn't see it? I still play over the weekends for a bit, but that's mainly in hope that one day I will log on and something will catch my attention again.
Any thoughts on that?...anyone?

Stat inflation made the second half of the storyline useless.
At first you needed the 3* storyline armors to defeat epic boss level 43, since the boss non-plus were too weak, now it's the other way around. Once you have the armors to beat epic boss level 15, storyline is just a few quest gems and level grind locations.



RAID as new feature makes no sense to me neither as you do not need RAID group to defeat the boss, if you keep up with your EB+ to be semi up to date (skipping one combo is OK) you can take the creature down your self.
The higher kill bonus makes higher level raid bosses attractive to guilds aiming for high ranking.



I'm pretty sure there is still some good in the game, maybe it is just me that doesn't see it? I still play over the weekends for a bit, but that's mainly in hope that one day I will log on and something will catch my attention again.
Any thoughts on that?...anyone?
From what I've heard, war, boss and arena are the core parts of most Gree games and things like storyline/adventure mode are mostly padding to get to/glue together those 3.

But most of any games of the type are in essence just a cluster of simplistic mini games where you farm/buy your way to improvement of your little army of characters.
