Bank fee reduction %

Slight issue with this as i have 6 items with -10% bank fee which should equal -60% but on my bonuses it shows -47% so its obviously takes -10% off each time from the already reduced amount i think it should give me the -60% as it would be if added together before being taken into account

This is one of the best complaint threads yet. One guy complains that his item does exactly what it says it will do and another guy sarcastically blames "gree math" when they're exactly right.

Also, I think you have seven bank reduction mods.

im saying it would make more sence to add the % bonuses and then take them off so your saying you wouldnt expect 10 x 10% you wouldnt expect that to be 100%

I was gonna bring up this same issue 4 days ago, but got sidetracked. I have the same thing. 6 Items with -10% reduction and my total is at -47%. its strange because my mini has -41% and I barely do anything with him. My main does just about everything and hes ahead by only 6%...Gree Logic is the term I have been applying to everything that does not make sense

Oh... I just realized that with six mods, it should be 53% of the total bank fee, which happens to be -47%. It's just a coincidence that seven mods would be 47%, which is -53%. Looks like Gree is right again!

it works the same in shops when they have sales, or do you expect with a half price sale + 50% one day special the shop gives everything away?

100%-10%
90%
81%
72.9%
65.61%
59.04%
53.14%
47.8%
but even by that working it should be rounded up to 48% i think

The bank reduction mods are multiplicative, not additive. If you have 2 of them the reduction is (1-.10)^2. That's 0.90 times 0.90 for the mathematically challenged. The reduction percentage is taken from the base bank fee which is 10%. So having 6 10% mods make the bank fee 5.31%.

5 mods worth -10% were awarded from Street Assault events, and one for the normal LTQ during the anniversary month. 6 of these mods have been available to pretty much everyone, but most campers/minis will only have 5 since they didn't want the XP gain for doing a pretty easy LTQ.
