1) Is it on purpose?
2) Why guardian so early?
3) Do you agree the exclusivity of war epics was false advertising?

Please keep it civil guys, remember we all have common goals

1) with Gree, the odds of that are below 50%...
2) see 1)
3) I was surprised that war epics more than a year old were still unfusable up to now. It's a game of "constantly pay/switch to newest armors to stay ahead" and most people, including the war winners, from back then will have left the game already. Why let the pixel/animation resources/megabytes stored on the device go to waste unused. Just throw the old war epics and very old currently unfusable 4-stars into the fuse table and let newbies have fun with those out-stat-ed armors! (I want to fuse a Twin Jian!)

edit:
Gree's track record with epics and fusion has always been rocky.
At one point, long, long ago, there was a boss collection that included mono air and earth and at that point
4-star mono air + 4-star mono earth -> almost certain Cloudking, small chance of Tectonic
and
Cloudking + mono earth -> 100% Tectonic

so those that fused away their collection armors early, all got a Tectonic,
and for those that waited patiently to first collect their keys, Gree silently locked
all 3 by then fusable epics (moontide, Blazeborne, Tectonic) out of the fusion list with a patch...

1) Yes.

2) To give the F2P players a little hope, instead of "Man, all of these Epics have so much higher stats than the armors I can get, I don't stand a chance. Time to find another game..."

3) Here's my thoughts: + version armors are not fusible, so the 1st place winner of Guild Wars do get an exclusive + version trophy, while 2nd-10th get an "exclusive for however long Gree decides to keep it that way" epic. So, in short, 1st place gets a trophy, 2nd-10th get a placement ribbon that will be available to the general public at some point.

Personally, I think they should have had a structured plan to release fusible Epics, starting with the first generation of every element combination, including war exclusive Epics, and then introduce the second generation, and so on, but not all at once.

I don't think anyone uses the early GW Epics anymore do they? If the winners of those first GWs still play, do they even have those armors in their inventory anymore?

I'm F2P, and while I enjoy the idea of being able to fuse more recent Epics, I still think it was too soon and has upset a large part of Gree's P2P player base.

1) yes it's on purpose. It would appear now that heroic mode is about to come out that gree is rushing making epics fusible AND rushing the wars to clear the pipeline of epics to come. This makes me think heroic mode will bring 6* Heroic armors.

2) I don't necessarily think they skipped all the old war epics and made guardian the first fusible war epic since forgestone. I think guardian was discovered to be fusible first but in fact many war epics may now be fusible.

3) I like that the war epics are becoming fusible. I think a lot of them should have been fusible a long time ago. Doesn't help me much unless they make the + versions fusible but I like it anyway.

As has already been mentioned elsewhere, I really think this is a rare, yet scheduled departure from the norm. Gold Chromatic was the only chest epic that isn't fusible. If you check the timeline for when Epics were released, Gold Chromatic was released 4 days before Guardian Wargear. I think they merely swapped one for the other. I also think people are making a big deal out of what may only be an exception to the norm. If Gree makes this the norm then I think the people who go after war-only-epics would have a legitimate beef. A beef that ultimately may mean very little to Gree.

They promote games to make money. That should be very clear. They demonstrate a desire to please their audience but I wouldn't expect them to do that at their perceived expense either. They will always side with their perception of money opportunity over people.

Having only joined the game in April, I have never seen any communication from GREE promising me that they would not make my war epics fusible. I have never participated in T10 just to acquire a war epic per se, mainly just to fill gaps in my lineup.

The game is ever evolving and the new epics are much stronger. So strong in fact that some of my + armors have been eclipsed or are just slightly better. In fact, the war armors I do have never see the light of day since they cannot compete with the newer offerings or the + armors I have acquired through gemnados or chests. It was surprising to see Guardians added to the fusible list so soon, but it happened.

I guess the question I have is if a war epic became fusible that you did not have and you fused it would you keep it? Better yet, since we are all in guilds how do you feel about one of your guildies fusing it? Would you still prefer it to remain exclusive? Or would you prefer to see your guild benefit by it's members growing stronger?

Hey Folks! Just stopping by to let you know that the Guardian Wargear being fusible was a mistake which has since been fixed. Our apologies for any confusion or panic that this may have caused.

Could we know the list of EVERY fusible epic by this time? It would resolve doubts and would be more clear for everyone.

Where any of the others mistakes? It seemed that 6-7 armors became fusible all at the same time, some of which seemed pretty far fetched to be fusible so soon.

Cloudrange is fusible. I know cause I just had the misfortune to fuse it. Is this a mistake too?

Yep, would be nice to have a list of "currently fusible" and "were accidentally fusible, but fixed to unfusable again"...

agreed and still unsure how your coders keep making mistake after mistake after mistake
