I don't know the process to get Apple to release the update, but I only assume they have a "emergency" release if possible. Yes/no? Are we gonna have to wait a week or more?

The games still glitchy after loading the update, I can't load my in game comment wall. When i hit an EB it freaks out. There is still a gap between the energy and stam bar. And there is still a lag when opening my rivals list. Great work !

Yup same here - Downloaded update and still doesnt work! Crashes on startup unless I turn off wifi, still says zero briefcases, health bar at top is half-size, I can still see the red health bar for "hidden" buildings (like when someone thinks they hide a composite behind an AMR - not anymore ... I CAN SEE IT!), and I'm sure others will fill in the rest of the issues.

Should add that ridiculous lag remains and if sitting on my base when buildings become ready to collect, the "Money tags" above the buildings DO NOT appear and the "Collect All Income" bar does not appear UNTIL I click one of those buildings ... Then they are both active.

Various apple toys. ALL kit (iPhone 6, iPhone 5, iPad Air and iPod touch) all suffering with the nuclear briefcase bug, gold videos not playingand maps hanging and not loading.

Stat wobbles seem restricted to old devices like the ipad2 (IOS 7.1.2) and iPod touch (6.1.6).

My devices that aren't affected and have updated are running a mixture of IOS from 7.0.4 to 8.1. Is there an affinity between accounts and servers? If it's not the IOS version and some people are unaffected by the update, then it's something intermittent like a server in a cluster maybe?

I have 8 IOS devices here, various versions of IOS and device types. Want a tester? Shout!

I like your idea... i've been around computer stuff my whole life and i'm old... there is a common denominator amongst the glitched... either in the code or a pattern with the endusers... we need to focus on the solution, not the problem, and post specifics and look for patterns... or the whole world may be jonesing this weekend from mw withdrawals...

I saw the Game Center thing pop up on one of mine, that is not updated. I hope they ditch that. The problem is if you have multiple games. If you're not careful it will write one game over the other. You have to either create separate Apple ID for each one, or log out of Game Center. I have other games same issue. Then if you want to transfer, you do have to log in with the correct Apple ID before you can transfer ona new device. I know there are many players in MW with multiple games, the other games I play, not so much, so they did not plan. For those that do.

I installed the update and lost all of my boosts I had gotten the past few weeks. Additionally every time I log in now it try's to tell me that I have advanced to some random level above where I was. Can we get a third "update" tomorrow that will actually make the game playable again? The game has not been functional since the update to fix the airplane glitch. Since then the game never syncs properly to the server. Collecting cash, moving a building, hitting NPCs, attacking in WD, Deploys in Frontline, hitting an epic boss, attacking raid boss, and so on and on.... basically any action in the game causes connection issues. I get tired of watching the spinning wheel on my phone and then 90% of time get a server error. It's beyond absurd at this point. I know, blame it on my phone or my wireless connection....wrong. It's this bandaided, superglued, duct-taped, half-rigged broken game platform that doesn't work. Please shut the game down for 1 week and fix the issues!

Not true, actually same or worse. With the latest update, issues still persist on my 2 iOS devises with different versions. Gree just love the tickets to be sent in and using same canned responses. The good thing is that it always remind me why I should not spend any real money on such a glitchy product so I don't get upset with all the problems of this game.

I have MW version 4.5 running on a 5G iPod touch with iOS 8.1 with no problems.

When I collect money or finish a mission, the text is a few times bigger. This is not a problem at all but not sure if it's intended, either.

I feel awful for those who can't get into the game or who can't play normally.

My guess is it is not a matter of won't but that they can't. In one of the closed threads I posted that the app + data is way to bloated, on my main player it is taking up 2gb of storage. On others before that last catastrophic update the average was 1.4 gb. I'm betting that this is causing the crashing and glitches like nondisplaying graphics plus the slowness. They loaded too much crap into the game and are paying the price for it now.

Gree should stop trying to rush a broken fix and just downgrade all the iOS users to the last working version. Then when Grees developers are not under so much pressure properly test the fix before publishing it.

Grees BETA test programme clearly has a lot of issues. We get a problem every week but this one is the worst I have witnessed.

I agree that the game should be rolled back to the last known 'working' version. Failing this this weekends WD should be delayed until next weekend.

Not sure what the disconnect is with testing, either Gree is not listening to it's testers or they don't have a broad enough sampling of devices/testers.

What I posted to another thread, this is a sampling from all 14 (included because some 'genius' suggested I update my devices, nope game should have been tested and be able to run on all IOS devices though I can see IOS 5 devices getting dumped eventually) of my devices set up to play MW.

Sadly new update is more broken then last.

iPad 1st gen, IOS 5.1.1 (latest os), app crashes when attempting to kill boss, crashes when trying to go to mission, stats are 1/3 of actual stats,correct stats are visible under faction member stats, though all boosts are intact. All folders have been lost. App loads exceptionally slowly. Crashes when trying to send a ticket.

IPod 4th gen IOS 6.1.6 (current). App will not load without crashing.

iPhone 4 IOS 7.1.2 (current) App Loads very very slowly, folders gone, stats 1/4 of what they should be. Boosts showing.

iPhone 5 IOS 8.1 App loads slowly, crashes less. Stats appear to be correct. Folders show 0 on main screen but correctly in event screen.

iPad 2nd Gen same as iPhone 5 and all other devices running IOS 8.1.

Vaults are also broken on some accounts, 0 displayed for max vault so cash cannot be added even if space is available. Restarting sometimes fixes the issue however given how long a restart takes this is unacceptable.

Remove auto log into Game Centre, this seems to prevent some iPods from loading the app or just produces an instant crash when loading game.

If you want to make the game stable, start by removing the redundant NPC's. Besides cluttering up the screen and causing unwanted hits they slow the game down. When I see 4 or 5 characters in the same area as my target, I wait till they wander off before hitting. Now it does not.

My app loads now and starts but i takes 5-10mins ! I have reinstall the hole app before updating to 4.5.1 ! My basegraphics are not full loaded and i get kicked but with everytime i log in more and load more graphics the app loads faster up and holds longer ! I got the same prob on any ltq ! I need to stay at base for a while to get the full datapush loaded and all npc's are shown ! I suggest that some try this and see if it gets better on stats and all other bugs !

A better option would be to stop loading all new NPCs and use the original ones that have been in the game for years. We have not used them since the Axis of Evil event this past January.

Use the NPCs you already have and make the game have less issues.

Sorry that wasn't clear enough. They are working on a fix for the remaining issues, but there is not an estimated time for when this will be released. More so waiting on approvals via Apple then submitting the fix.

I noticed with the upgrade when raiding a rival you can now see all buildings even if they are hidden behind arctic mining rigs etc. You can clearly see the red raid line. At first glance it looks like the building in front of the hidden one is lit....

Looking thru the long list of bugs related to this release, I think there maybe one missing.

We have two members in 1 faction who can not access at all because they were in the midst of an iOS device switch. Have all the logins, IDs etc, can get to where the game starts to load and then it freezes. They have opened tickets with Gree but this seems like more than the normal device switch. They have all the right info and one of them moves the game btwn devices on a semi-regular basis depending on which device they are going to have access to (iPad or iPhone).

Bad timing on their upgrades/switch for sure but right now we have a faction that has 2 member who cant even access the game to do anything, I am sure that they cant be alone. One of them is about to stop playing after 2 years just b/c not worth the frustration.

Gree has closed the ticket and said that it is a "known" issue. Just dont see it in this thread anywhere so I thought it should be tracked.

Many refunds in the future for the player base. I don't get how you continue to handle things so poorly. This is easily the worst company I have seen at having both a faulty product, and terrible customer service and compensation policies. If only you would make a good faith effort to make things right half the time all the refunds wouldn't be warranted, yet you don't care and you never learn.

I got an answer back on the stat issue from the ticket I filed:

We apologize for any inconvenience which may have been caused as a result of updating to version 4.5.1. If you are using 4.5, please visit the iTunes store and install the latest update 4.5.1. The incorrect stats being displayed in 4.5.1 are believed to be due to a slower-than-expected calculation that occurs when the new version is installed. If you open the inventory immediately upon starting the game you will likely will never notice the issue. If you go directly to the stats screen you may see incorrect stats.

The complete calculation of your inventory may take a minute or more in some cases. Please allow this calculation to complete; you should not restart the game or close the inventory during this time. You will see a spinner in the inventory while stats are calculating. When this spinner is finished you can go to Profile to confirm the numbers are correct. All items, bonuses, and stats are correct on the server, and have not been lost or altered.

Wall postings and briefcase displays after the most recent update are due to a loading performance issue with the inventory. We are working to fix the underlying situation, but in the mean time we will be reverting some changes made to improve load times to prevent the incorrect displays from appearing in the next update.

A new client version will be available soon that addresses these loading issues.The next game version will add a spinner or ‘calculating’ text in the Profile to alert you about this condition and avoid future confusion.

MW in this has become virtually unplayable since the updates. Dropped Crates to zero, no update when buildings are due for collection, takes forever to load, NPCs don't fully display or don't display at all, takes forever to load on a 50/108 mps connection, and a host of other issues. This is really sad.

This is an unmitigated cluster. It almost seems as if Gree wants to drive everyone to another game so they can close this one down. No coder can be this bad except by design. Anyone ever heard of regression testing, or does Gree coders just throw it out there.

Saying I have seen in many development shops " I don't always test my code, but when I do it is in production." Seems like the Gree philosophy.

Gree, send us a message when you get your act together and get this truly fixed. Meanwhile, time to find something more playable with my faction friends.
