Build 20141103_42281 has removed all my inventory from one account (stats have lost 550m attack) and all nuclear briefcases from all accounts.

My account levelled up from 184 to 228 also. Screen shot captured of this:

Anyone else seeing issues?

Edit: maps are now taking 2 minutes or more to load. Running on IPhone 6, iPad Air and seeing same issues.

Version 20141104_42350 build 450.7.0 has not returned my missing inventory, stats or nuclear briefcases. Hard booted, refreshed, thrown the ipad across the room, unfolded a rug and prayed to Mecca, uttered arcane phrases from the necronomicon and still nothing.

Having tried the sublime, maybe a ticket to Gree support?

im on iphone6. Maps wont load, stats are down to unboosted. You better fix this fast and hand out energypacks. Im always quiet when things dont work cuz there is always other people complaiing, but ffs gree..


Edit. And the update said performance improvements. You kidding me? My change from iphone 5 to the 6 was a boost in performance. This update is back to the effin stoneage.

iPhone 6 and iPad Air both affected, running IOS 8 and 7 respectively. This is just about the last straw, $150 a month on gold may not be a lot to gree but it's 150 more than I am spending again. The last few weeks have been awful.

A plea to Gree. PLEASE let me be part of beta testing so that people don't need to suffer these repeat issues? PLEASE.

Thanks but I am putting the game down indefinitely. Really disappointed with recent issues and I don't have time to spend on tickets when a data push will ultimately fix it and I get a fob off.

Poor product kills companies. Poor service can cripple good product, perception of quality influences how much or little people spend on goods and services. Not your fault Tadaah but something your management should reflect on.

My game is slowly gettin better. But stats jump up and down. I need to sleep a couple hours before morning. I will send a ticket tomorrow if it still is messed up.

Have the missions always been giving out 280 xp each level. The rewards tab shows 283 xp reward for 2/20 masters. In addition it seems the viewing of the game is now half android half iOS for iOS users. I also can't get to some if the maps. This update really swamped the game

If a map opens it's totally Nuked, devoid of NPC's targets and normal decor. This is a bad one.

Right so get a response back after the create event is over? My update reset my progress (8/10) and took all my creates (96). support I'm sure will get back to me after the event is over and let me know that they can't do anything about it now....very nice

Update not working well for me to, iPad2. Hangs itself on most travels (to base and from base). Not smooth overall, nothing got better.

Edit: also stats are completely screwed, case counter wack, not to forget a question mark still hovers over the total stats...as a monumental symbol of what still needs work in this game.

I can't upgrade any buildings it says server error, but bosses are appearing and I can do the FLTQ so the server is fine. Restarted the game a few times and tried to upgrade the building 8 times now and it won't work. Plus font sizes and graphics are all a bit bigger making it difficult to see what buildings can be raided for example. Ticket sent

I am experiencing the same problem with my iPad Mini but not with my iPad Air. Both have the same content versions and same MW versions and same iOS versions. Only difference is mini has a slower CPU.

Hope that helps the developers.

Seriously, I can't even send a ticket, anytime I log in the game crashes, if I do get in any button I click crashes the game, maybe pull the Damn update from the app store if there is a problem. If I can't log in to play the game am I sol, for the Ltq day 3...I finished day 1 and 2...again Wtf.

Hey Tadaaah this has affected 12/60 users in my faction who did the iOS update. They cannot log into game long enough to send a ticket.

This is a prevalent problem with all who did the new update.

Inventory issues. Stay and level issues. Game is unplayable for all who did the update.

Unfortunately, we're still investigating were the breakdown was. Once we find that, we'll have a better estimate. As much as we'd love to give you an eta, that's not yet possible.

Don't worry to much they will get this fixed if you can't log in you can't buy gold, and WD is their big money maker this weekend. According to gree I went from 3 billion attack to 9 billion attack...

This has happened enough, I think we know how this goes. I know there isn't an eta, I wouldn't want one as its a guess...lol. What I'm saying is...what do we do if this doesn't get fixed fast enough. Do I miss out on the day 3 prize and ultimately the wrapper....do we get a sorry try again later, or is there a back up plan. Can't do epic boss, can't do crate, can't do ltq.

IOS user here.
I dont see the big possitive changes with this new update.
Briefcase count goes to zero every time i open the game, and i have to do that alot now, cause going to a new map makes it freeze.
I lost both health and energy stats, even though it does appear that the energy count is correct, (but hard to see when the numbers now float BEHIND the Stamina bar) talking about display errors, WHEN are you going to fix the Attack and Defense stats Display glitch, where Attack looks like millions when they are billions and Defense has ... after it, move the freaking "?" over so it does not cover the stats and make room for the total stats..

I was allso hoping to see all the OLD temp boosts gone from the specials section in the inventory, permanent temporary boost just dont make any sense to me...
Oh and dont tell me to send in a ticket, i have to find all of the importent game info on the forums, so please copy paste this and forward it to whatever team is in charge of typing code with their elbows, thank you.

Some additional information and no guarantee on this workaround:

If you can get on a fast enough network connection, you may be able to download fast enough to avoid the bad data. Again, no guarantee, but this is the only workaround we have right now.

We all appreciate the constant updates by you but this is quite the PITA during constant events. Maybe the game should have one day off a week from events to allow for new data pushes?

At least tadaah is providing frequent updates, i know you don't have answers now but do not ignore the requests for additional time for events since so much has been lost, two hours on a box event can be the difference between finishing 10/10 and not. At the bare min if you don't expand the time it's 15 gold per hour for a timer reset that each player is owed.

And will we need to ask whether events will be extended, or is this from Gree? Given that these types of errors have happened so often, I would have expected that you have a manual on how to respond, ie: how to adjust event endings, how to compensate players in case you stick with the program, etc. Does someone need to ask the question before Gree becomes proactive, get in front of the train, and provide us with solutions to the matter before the forum erupts? Does not seem there is any contingency planning.

My stats show about half of what they used to, but when attacking they are the correct stats. The epic boss and pvp show my regular stats. The crates show 0, but I was able to open one and then it showed the correct number after opening. My sound effects suddenly turned on and scared me as I was not accustomed to hearing an air raid as I opened the game :p

I think I got a ticket through after getting booted from the game several times. I am having All the issues others are having plus a few new ones, all my buildings are missing....just the level numbers are there. When I hit collect all it says "failed to collect" then I get raided. My ground defense boost is now negative 10%, my nation boost is missing completely. No MW for me tonight :(

If I had an unworkable system where I run IT, I would keep staff on, correction they would not want to leave, until it's resolved.

W care about our end users. Customers. You know, who pay our salary, keep roof over our heads. Unless the is some serious coordinated action against Gree and their lack of QA (boycott, no gold week or similar) things will never change.

Of course, if there are plans to beef up their testing (I have offered my services for beta three times and not got a response, consider this a fourth), then share them and give users some confidence that it's being addressed seriously.

Three events going and I can't participate meaningfully in a single one. When support contacted they close complaint and say I need to update my data. When I send screen shot showing I am using most recent data they do not respond. How is gree going to fix this? I fear the end is near for MW.

My briefcases disappeared with the update as well, but figured out a temporary workaround. Soon as you find another case, the data appears to reset. It's a pain in the a** but least it lets you open cases and keep the cases you opened previously. Note: if you log out, you'll need to find another case when you login again

This issue with being patient is tadaah can't answer our compensation question, are events extended, are we given gold if they are not, gold is the only compensation if you don't extend a lock box, by my calculation this is 12 hours now, so 12 lost ops to open, gree owes all affected players either 12 hours in box event or 130 gold for 12 resets. Also at least 5 energy refills and a few health packs for he LTQ and boss,

Im speaking from my experience because i play Gree games as you all do.
And belive me that sometimes is better when a person respond kind than to respond upset and use some inappropriate words.
And in real life this is a good advice ;)

I would not update, of the three devices I have done none are working properly especially if you had speed and crashing issues before this update. Loading has become exceptionally slow and the game is now freezing when loading maps. This could be a result of a data flush and if so then it should improve, it hasn't so far to any appreciable degree.

Folders have disappeared, one work around is to obtain another and that seems to fix the display issue.

Boosts, I don't see a change in stats though the numbers in my profile are screwed up. For example one defense boost shows +-10 instead of 230.

I noticed briefly between crashes and freezes that there are now Divisions, think that is a great idea considering SUP is unbeatable. I do however wonder if this is going to turn into a catastrophe since it's untested and we are only 2 days away from WD and a large part of this update is severely flawed. Is it worth the risk of loosing even more revenue and customers?

I forgot to check but I really hope the app did not increase in size, if it has then that is likely to be a big part of the problem, in other words you need to stop testing on just the lastest devices with loads of memory since in the real world a lot of folks are playing on legacy hardware and full memory....

If you have your game in iCloud backed up from before than delete this version and get that one from your icloud account ,in iCloud you should have all apps and pics backed up,try to get that earlier update of the game..

This is just a temporary solution till they fix the new update..

My response from support was that there was no problem! That it was my fault for having old data. When I sent a screen shot showing I had the most recent data update. They stopped responding and it has been crickets chirping since then. The problems keep magnifying and every time I try to do something else, vault, build, LTQ, crate, boss, raid, check stats, I discover a new problem. I know from past experience YOU MUST DOCUMENT EVERY ISSUE or else Gree says you have no claim. Most recently my faction suffered and issue with the boss event and those that filed complaints were compensated. Those that chose NOT to file complaints because it was a faction issue and didn't want to overload customer service were told NO LUCK unless you filed a complaint. I will hence forth document every single issue I come across in the game.

Now, could you please give us a meaningful update on the problem many of us are facing here?

I just checked app usage in my iPad system and it's showing a whopping 2.0 GB of space used for the app and docs for V4.5 with 88mb for the app size. On another non updated iPod 4th gen device V4.4 app size is 84.4 mb and uses 'only' 1.4 gb for docs and data.

On my iPad MW is using more resources than any other installed app!

I have a idea that you can try to see if it works,but this is just my opinion ...

If you have your game in iCloud backed up from before than delete this version and get that one from your icloud account ,in iCloud you should have all apps and pics backed up,try to get that earlier update of the game..

This is just a temporary solution till they fix the new update..

Please make sure the devs don't activate the lockdown that requires the latest version of the app. Also given how bloated this is becoming I don't think it is a good idea to roll this out for Android as it will prevent those using phones with limited memory from loading and playing. It's already bad enough on one device which runs out of internal memory and cannot load and display half the buildings on the base.

I've lost a lot of bonus on my main and all stats in my second account.
My inventory is ok but my stats are at 0....
it's frustrating on seeing that you can't manage properly this game.. always new features and no old problems fixed.... come on GREE! it's time to look for other and better employes!

I was so angry with the unplayability that i threw my ipad on the ground. I picked it up and phew! it didn't break. Then i saw the MW app and got angry again and would have thrown the ipad onto the floor a second time but didn't. I deleted MW instead and didn't feel angry again. Well that was easy, tackled the root of my anger and problem solved! Although i still have more than 20000 gold left, no way is MW going into my device again. Good luck all, cheers and out.

You guys are all bent out of shape over an update that doesn't work. No biggie. Gree will issue another update to fix the problems. It takes time cause everything has to be put through Apple for their approval. My device did the auto update and some things on my game doesn't work, but that's no reason to come here and raise all billy h.ell about it. It's not going to make the technicians work any faster to get it resolved.

Tadah shows here that they have the app not under control anymore ! Lets involve apple now folks! Take SS of the update with warning and you acc with the bugs and fails! Ask for refund about that gree launch a game and are not able to controll the app and fake ppl's ! Refund for 90 days should be possible for sure !

Step 1: Turn auto updates off now, so this never happens again,with this or any other app

Step 2: Always sync your device with iTunes right before doing an app update.

If you synced with iTunes recently before the update, do the following:

-Make sure auto updates is off
-Delete the MW app (your acct is tied to your device ID, not the game data stored on your phone. When you reinstall MW it will still be your acct unless you do a full device reset)
-Plug the device into the computer and connect to iTunes
-reinstall the old version of MW by dragging it onto your phone in iTunes. (iTunes should still be storing the old version from your recent sync)

If you look on your computer at your iTunes directory and sub folders you'll be able to find the MW app file. It's a good idea to manually copy this file to another backup directory after each update so you always have the ability to revert to the previous version when a new update comes out

I just checked app usage in my iPad system and it's showing a whopping 2.0 GB of space used for the app and docs for V4.5 with 88mb for the app size. On another non updated iPod 4th gen device V4.4 app size is 84.4 mb and uses 'only' 1.4 gb for docs and data.

On my iPad MW is using more resources than any other installed app!

I just checked and MW is currently taking up 1.9 GB on my ipad, largest item on my ipad.

I see the time has finally arrived that Gree's lack of competence has made the the game so unplayable with every failed fix and update!! My 2 accounts are done here, game no longer worth all the headaches and B.S. Thanks for helping me cut the cord!!

If you're going to quit because of an issue with MW, quit. If you're going to cry because this gigantic issue isn't fixed yet, cry...but please, don't think anyone wants to read the constant sob stories.

Fully agree. A status update every 3-4 hours would head off a vast amount of the animosity though, which is getting out of hand and emotive.

My Iphone automatically updated. My stats have been halved, my base has only a third of the buildings showing, nothing works and the game is constantly crashing. Submitted a ticket.

I don't remember anymore the last time an event or update was not flawed since Gree took over.Tickets are worthless as they are always closed and reply is being worked on or fixed.I just wanna play modern war not waste my time waiting for events to start late and then they fix them after they finally start!!

I agree wholeheartedly. Calling folks names doesn't resolve anything.

On another note, my iphone automatically updated too and I don't have all the issues you guys are having. I can still play my game, can still get to maps after a try or two, can still upgrade at least one building or buy expansion. I can still collect and spend my cash. I can still beat a boss and work on the ltq. I haven't noticed a huge drop in inventory or stats.

Give the techs time to get this fixed.

This is the only company I know who could roll out a product that suddenly causes 50% of their user base to not access limited content that the other 50% of the user base has access to and NOT DO A THING ABOUT IT. No suspension of current events, no communication about status of the fix. What did they all do, well as far as we know Tadaaah had dinner and got a good nights rest. Awesome. Where I work, if we have a problem this serious everyone works non stop in crisis mode until this gets fixed, we wouldn't have it any other way. They don't care and its such a shame. The only thing worse than than the bugged code this game is built on is the support that goes with it.

Haha...you see how much tgey care or try to fix it ! THE DAMAGED UPDATE IS STILL AVAILABLE IN APPSTORE !!! First sign how much they care about every ppl ! And it no big think to contact apple and delete the new update and pull the old back so that every ppl can play but GREE make no fails thats what tgey try to tell apple everytime to dont refund !!!!!
