Fusible war epic

So guardians wargear is apparently fuseable. I hope this was a mistake and you will undo it and take it from the people who did fuse it but tbh im shocked you dont announce anything or try to explain your ****ups like usual.

Well I just want to if it was an accident or not to help me decide if I should contact google for my money back now or later.

There are multiple pictures floating around. I don't know how genuine they are, but let's just assume that the pictures aren't fake (since there's multiple opposed to one). I also heard Blazestone was fusable, but no pictures yet.

Hopefully they do fix this... or at least tell us a week ahead what they're planning to do so if they do mess up, we know they did.

Firestorm and peacock are way to new to be fusable. Those are not war epics, anyone buying chests can get them.

Join a better guild. War epics should never become fusable, that's the point of it being a war epic. Think from someone other than your own perspective and it'll all make sense.

This is really annoying. I'm a f2p player, I've saved up 1000's of free gems, totally legit ly, no glitches. That guardians armor was my first war epic. I like the war epics because there unique, not anyone has a chance of getting it like a chest/normal fused epic. I totally agree with you, but if you're wanting a not so selfish community you're playing the wrong game. A lot of these top guilds players preach all about community then when something like this comes along it's a lynch mob, sounds to me more like they're afraid of non alliance guilds competing personally.

If you're not part of their alliance then you don't deserve anything good, a selfish mentality. I respect a lot of what the top players can do as well as their guilds but some of them annoy me to no end because of the constant whinning and complaining.

In the end why does it really matter if some newer epics can be fused, 1. It's not like everyone is going to get them very easy and 2. Alliances just strip and don't use them most of the time anyways, also if you go against a guild that has players that fused these what are you worried about? They shouldn't concern you very much if you're a truely deserving top guild

Probably 90% of people who went top 10 those first few wars have retired from the game anyway, so not many to offend there... Something like 1 year of war epic exclusivity sounds decent to me. (they are giving some of those first ones away at guild gifting, this halloween event etc. anyway)

2) gold chromatic won't be fusible because it's a chromatic. It was a chest epic which usually means fusible, but they'd have to make the starmetals fusibl so, apparently not going to happen. Therefore, maybe guardians was offered up in its place?

3) if a post I read earlier is correct, then Heroic armors are about to replace epics anyway. So, all those lovely war epics are going to slowly become fusible because the new focus will be on the Heroics. Makes sense to me.

This entire post turned into alliance bashing lmao. Again, if your guild isn't good enough to get a war epic, join a better guild. War epics are "trophy's" of a sort. Guardians should NEVER be fusable based off the fact that it is released under the assumption that this, or a 5k gem event, will be the only ways to obtain it. I doubt making the war epic fusible was intentional otherwise we would of had some others beside forge(or at the very least had a 5k event/champion pack with this armor so GREE_d could profit off of it first). When forgestone became fusible one of the random patch notes that came out when this happened had "scorchstone aegis" as a new fusible armor. Probably another coding mistake.

1) what's the difference between a player spending $100 of their money vs the guys that grind out free vids till they save enough gems to go top 10/25? Gree makes money either way. A pay2play player invests $$, a f2p player invests time. Ultimately the f2p player is getting cheated cause in the end time>money.

2) why do you assume anyone that disagrees with you must be a f2p player? For the record I pay2play. I've done top 25 runs with my guild. No top 10 yet cause we are still growing. I'm not jealous of anyone's epics, chest or war epic because there will always be a better epic coming of the same combination in just a few weeks. Plus I have plenty of epics, chest and war epics. Even a few epic+. My guild has placed as high as 14th. And during raid war I've personally placed #12th. Being a pay to play player in a guild with a lot of free to play guys, I give them huge respect for grinding it out each and every week doing the best they can without the advantage of $$$. I couldn't do it... Thus I pay.

3) speaking of respect. Those that do fight and claw for top 10 and top 25 deserve respect for the fighting and clawing not how they got their gems.

4) epics have a shelf life of what? Six months? And then they're outdated.


That said there are three complaints I have at the moment about epics

1) tired of seeing the same element combos in chest epics or war epics. Mix it up some.

2) isn't it time to expand the reward tiers for guild wars?

3) during raid wars, individual reward tiers should be expanded. Going top 10/25 you're trying to out score 5,000 guilds give or take... Only 150-250 max have a real chance at top 25 and less at top 10. Going for the top individual prize you're out scoring every player on the game. Shouldn't this be worth more?

From what I've seen in this thread, I see that people are misunderstanding each other or are not considering the other's feelings about this subject because it is a touchy subject for some.

I'd like to remind you all that it is okay to have a certain degree of respect towards one another and yes, that also includes opinions. You don't have to agree with the opinion of others but please do not disrespect it either.
The OP is correct, people have a right to be upset about this but I do think that "TagTilYouDrop" did make a really valid point as well that is worth considering.

To dust92, please keep in mind that not everyone is the same. Everyone has their own opinions and experience things differently, that means that maybe for you it isn't such a big deal but for someone like Kanga it might be.
Because of this I would suggest to drop the arguement you've set in motion.

I am neither a F2P nor am I upset about people fusing war epics, so that blows that theory. I have spent thousands on this game since I started in April and have T10 epics of my own. As such, it bothers me not if others can fuse what I already have, as it helps keep people interested in the game and preserves my investment by keeping the game alive. I do not consider them a trophy, but rather a testimony to my weakness for spending money foolishly on a video game.

Well then you have a very different view than almost everyone else :P There was no "theory," there were facts. The point of war epics, is that they are WAR EPICS. You are supposed to only get them by warring/paying a ridiculous amount in gem events, that's the entire point of having them, is that they are rare and valuable. If you can't wrap your head around that then I'm sorry, nobody can help you.

War Epics on the other hand should be exclusive, the only time acceptable to get one rather than a war is via a Gem event (5k gems).

^exactly, more have been found daily. Usually when I get an in game update that means they made an epic fusible. I've had close to 50 updates since the raid. Was updating five times just to get into the game yesterday. This a glitch? Or epics being put into the fusible category?

Since there are 62 epics, i would say it's a glitch. If every update would be an added epic, then all epics should be fusable because there already were quite some fusable epics. In stead of making the new epics fusable it would have been better that old epics would be fusable in plus form.

As we already know flaming isn't allowed on the forum so you've received a warning because of that and the same thing goes to Fossil, that's all there is to it, plain and simple.

If you disagree that's one thing, but you can also ignore Fossil or not be surprised about getting a warning for making a hateful comment. (And I emphasize that the entirety of the flame was removed so it's not visible anymore)
