Wow! First thing is interesting, we have been waiting forever for this feature and finally craft epic armor! Same with 2nd line, something for armors keepers!

I don't think Heroic Mode is live at the moment. The banner still says Coming Soon.

I just wanted to verify that it won't be available until a sort time after iOS users get their build, as we all know it takes Apple some time to review the build :| We'll have more info on Heroic Mode in the coming week, how to access, what it is, and official start date!

Hello everyone! Reversal here!
Okay so for more information about this patch, this will be a 2-way patch!
The first part is right now available in the Google Playstore!

To take away the confusion allow me to elaborate how this works:
Heroic Mode ISN'T in the initial patch, I mean it is just NOT YET activated!
More details about this will become available the moment iOS got it's update (to make it fair!)

Sooooo what exactly in this patch is:
- Smelting armors into gold, which helps out a lot of people tremendously!

Do not be disheartened the patch WILL come! It says "Coming Soon" so be patient everyone, in the meantime visit my YouTube Channel:

There will be videos coming about the patch starting tomorrow morning so be on the lookout of that!

So a few of the armors in the current EB even changed elements with the update. They remain the same if you look at the summoning stone, but their armors themselves in my armory, and everyone else I asked, changed elements.

^^ I think it has potential to be very good. The smelting armor for gold has long been asked for. They expanded gameplay, are adding in the ability to craft epics, which will require grinding stages and playing the actual game. Sounds like there may be a way to earn your epics now. Ftp players rejoice!

I definitely agree that it has the potential to be great. So many people have wanted the game to expand so there is more to do once they beat the dark kingdom. I am rather excited for the all of the update to be available.

(because we can already get these after spending hundreds of dollars in Chests, Gree! :mad:)

They definitely are bugs introduced by this major update.

I suggest that GREE merges iOS and Android together so we dont have to wait. Or simply release the update together. Now we(android) are all waiting for the "new mode"

I look forward to this. That is good or bad, I like knowing stuff is being done and that Gree is listening to some of the comments. Hope hard mode has different levels of hard that could satisfy all levels of gear

iTunes needs to review the update first that's why it's later on there.
On Android this isn't the case.

Yeah I figured, just wanted to make Gree aware and confirm that everyone else had it as well. If this is the only glitch/bug that came with the update then that is great (comparatively speaking).

My sisters son is on Android and he has Armor of the Order on his air knight while it shows spirit element.

I just got a in-game update that fixed the armor element error. Close your game and reopen to see if you get that update as well.

iOS hasn't got the update but game keeps resetting. Halloween Bosses button keeps going away. After reset game comes back, as soon as you hit any button it resets again.

Armor elements seem to be hotfixed.

So according to the Heroic Path 2 quest, you need to farm 8 fragments from an area to form 1 Starcrystal.
I sure hope that either there are different types of Starcrystals as materials for multiple epics or 1 type of Starcrystal used for currency in a epic materials shop and not just 1 type of StarCrystal that is used to craft 1 (new) epic...
(The "Star" in the name also worries me a bit, since we already have the terms Starmetal/Kaleidoscopic.)

Mountains of gold already... I would have preferred "batch enhance" instead. (for ex. I select 78 Crius armors, it nicely splits that into 19 sets of 4 and 1 set of 2 and enhances all 78 into the armor I selected in one go with shortened enhancement animation)

I will be shocked if the epic armor is better than eba+ and am expecting us to get either moonturd, blaze, or tec. At the very least we'll have something to combine our eba armors with to increase our chances of getting something useful.

Armor doesn't need a "s" at the end to be considered plural. You could be correct in that there is only one, but that isn't a real good indicator.

I like that heroic is coming, i just wish it came out all at once lol. I finished the first quest within 5 kinutes of the update now im sittin back waiting on it. Armor smelt is worthless to me, not enough cash for how much i gotta spend to craft the stuff.

FYI, the chances to get an epic from fusing an epic are currently equal or lower than getting one from fusing legendaries.

Since we are 24hrs from the launch of the "heroic mode" i will let you all in on a secret.

Open the K&D app, tap menu, tap options, select FAQ tab, tap other FAQ, select "what is heroic mode". It will actually give you all the information you need.

1 event (28 day length) with 1 craftable epic per month
farm 8 fragments from each of 8 storyline locations (8x8=64 total) on "heroic" to craft the non-plus
level the armor to 35 (odd, same as epic boss, even though epics get 3rd visual stage at 50...)
farm another 8x8 fragments to craft the plus
set epic+ crafting before event ends


I guess this means the "heroic" armors will all be new ones and not any of the old, fusable ones.
(otherwise people who fused those/got them from chests etc. would have half an event headstart for that month.)
Since you will be crafting an epic+ (well they call it "improved version", but it would be confusing if they used a different indicator than the "+"...), I guess the non-plus will likely be statted close to boss+ so the improved/plus doesn't come up to the level of newest war/chest epics.


edit: I hope "heroic" is flagged to not proc the epic boss, just like Kingdom of Darkness is, or lots of people will get annoyed...
