Please can you share the maths used to produce this list? I have checked and it is correct but how do you calculate it for future reference?

You need to get around 2072k gold every day just to complete the building :)

For those of us who are maxed out on allies, does that bonus do anything at all? Or dose it allow us to bring our max +the extra from the bonus?
It's not like I can add more than 500 to my Allie list.

It allows you to have +2 allies when attacking. I have +13 alliance size increase and it doesn't do much for my stats. Maybe it will one day if they keep having these bonuses.

It doesn't allow for more allies when raiding, which I think is weird.

No, my +12 alliance size increases my attack stat by 0.0029% and my defense by slightly more. Alliance size increase is TOTALLY WORTHLESS. Give me a unit with +100 alliance size increase or +1% alliance attack increase and I'll take the alliance attack increase. Alliance size is junk.

The only reason I give half a second of thought to getting this unit is because after all of my bonuses that's close to a 1.25m/1.25m unit, which is alright.

Whenever a new building quest shows up, you can check the store and look for it before you buy it. There you can see what kind of building it is.

If he is, then my response is that -55% is just from building/guild bonuses. There are units with cost reduction bonuses as well. You can easily have -70% cost reduction without really trying all that hard if you've been around for the last two years. I can't imagine what you'd have if you're one of those people who gets every bonus.

Another way to look at it...
L3 is L2 x 1.4
L4 is L3 x 1.5
L5 is L4 x 1.6
L6 is L5 x 1.7
L7 is L6 x 1.8
L8 is L7 x 1.9
L9 is L8 x 2.0
L10 is L9 x 2.1

Technically L2 (raw) is L1 (raw) x 1.3, but for most people, their unit and guild boosts only kick in on L2, which is officially an upgrade, while building a L1 is construction, so upgrade boosts don't apply. As a result, your L2 upgrade is usually less than it cost to construct your building, provided you have enough discounts.

Your final discount is the combination of all your unit boosts, your guild bonuses, and your lumber mill. Your lumber mill discount is listed separately from your upgrade boosts since it's a building AND upgrade boost.

Yea, this one seems to be different from previous calculations. I haven't bothered to get the new numbers, yet.

It's a mess this time around, that's about the only fact. I think I'm close to 60% discount in all, and I dropped ~14.7m on Lv 10, I believe? -59% Upgrade Cost, actually, so close enough. Kinda glad I didn't stuff all the gold I'd gotten from the Epic Boss into the Guild Coffers like I'd planned to at first. That's also before the Lumber Mill is taken into account. Still don't know how that one affects things.
