Will Crime City be next?
Maybe GREE just hasn't made the announcement yet....
... or maybe Crime City is one of the few games that GREE will continue.
I will highly recommend all gamers to stop buying ingame currency in any GREE game until GREE has officially announced that they will continue running the game!!!
Because GREE has made it very clear that they will NOT let you transfer any remaining ingame currency you had bought for real money to another GREE game than they shut the servers!!!!
GREE will just take your money and laugh !!!!
For those that has purchased ingame currency recently for any of the games that GREE is shutting down
I will recommend that you try to contact Apple App store or Google Play store for a refund.
GREE is NOT giving any!!

I am really torn to find a sympathetic figure here. A gaming company whose sole motivation is profit and shareholders, or players who are stupid enough to piss away their retirement money on such temporary things.
There are 4 billion people on thos planet who do not have internet access. I imagine they would find the passion poured into these first world problems quite amusing.

Yep i reckon its only a matter of time . I like the way they say you can still purchase in-game credits up until November 4th , absolutely shameless . I expect this thread will be locked asap as with all other threads that are in the least bit critical .

Crime city would be sold to another game company, just like when Funzio sold it to Gree. If you weren't aware that the game could be shut down without notice at any time without a refund, I suggest you read more carefully before buying gold. That's the case with every game... you can't force them to keep running the servers at a loss.

MW and CC I think bring in the most cash. If GREE isn't making enough money to support CC and MW anyways, they are stupid. Pay the people less who can't put out events on time. Or get rid of half your customer service team who don't help anyway. I believe Funzio was making over $4,000,000 PER MONTH when they were bought by GREE. Yes it was American currency also.

I am not able to reveal exact details at this time, but the team is constantly working on improving the game, and creating new exciting content. Stay tuned for details in the coming weeks.

I think most ppl who spend real money know the fact that it is a temporary entertainment source and whatever virtual they have gained will be taken away when the game is shutdown. but if there's anyone who thinks they can take home something with them at the end, needs serious consultation with a neuro specialist lol

I didn't even know those games existed. The fact that Gree won't give you credit for gold in another game just shows their lack of marketing savvy. They really should be offering everyone a 50% increase on their current gold to try out a different title. That's the cheapest marketing they have to get proven gold buyers into another game. Instead, they've decided to alienate their proven spenders, thus encouraging the smart ones to remove the Gree needle and replace it with another brand. Maybe some of you will even realize how silly it is to spend money for virtual stuff...nah, probably not...

They really don't know what awesome means...most likely it is either an easy LTQ with a lame prize, or it's a really expensive LTQ with a good attack mod. After all, the 'month of mayhem' was a few energy & stamina refills and a plus one upgrade. 'Player appreciation month' was a reduced raid boss. But at least both events were accompanied by a month of really exciting splash screens. So whatever they come up with you should expect no advance communication, but an overkill of splash screens to wildly exaggerate how cool it really is...
