View Full Version : Game Transfer please Gree/Tadaah......why must we wait sooooo long

After numerous tickets sent from both my old device and new device I'm still waiting in anticipation for my account to be transferred.
Also Tadaah you were sent a private message asking for u to look into the matter, and still nothing.
I gave GREE all the correct info needed, plus iTunes receipts.
So come on guys, please sort it out......

If you have both devices functioning and able to access the internet follow the guide below:
1.Make sure the game is installed on both devices.
2.Create a Funzio ID on the device with the account you would like to keep. You can do this by going to Menu -> More -> Funzio ID.
3.Put the same Funzio ID info onto the device you would like to transfer to (the Funzio IDs have to be the same to transfer. If one is different from the other, delete and reinstall the game on the device you want to transfer to and add the information from the Funzio ID on the first device).
4.IMPORTANT: Now go into the account you want to transfer. Hit the transfer button on the Funzio ID page. This will get your account ready to transfer. (ALWAYS hit the transfer button on the account you want to keep playing).
5.Log into the Funzio ID using the device you want to complete the transfer with. Your game will now be transferred to the new device.
That method of transfering stopped working last year I believe if not before. The other that Gree suggest doesnt work either, which is icloud backup or itunes back, none of the methods Gree has mentioned for transfering a game stopped working long ago. Gree support also takes anywhere from 2days to wks...

To All: Do not do this! Players have lost their accounts doing this and it takes a while to get it back.
To the OP: How long has it been since you sent the transfer request?
To Legalious: I get it, you're campaigning for forum mod but please know the game before you post suggestions.

Not some Legalious, all; I have not heard of one single person transferring a game in KA (somehow this works in other Gree titles) successfully without a long drawn out process involving Gree support.
The OP already knew this and processed a ticket to "try" and save time. Giving poor advice based on outdated information is no use to anyone.
OP, hope Gree gets your account transferred soon.
Something is better than silence.
Useless advice is worse than silence. Especially when on occasion, it decides to eat your account entirely.

@legalious... Yeah, good try but you have to know that only GREE's CS can only transfer KA accts between devices. It has been this way for a long while despite the more current, yet closed, sticky about game transfers. Quite confusing, really, but oh well *shrug* It's a shame this has caused good players to quit KA rather than wait weeks for GREE to transfer.
BTW, Ghost retired from all GREE games a very long time ago. Check the time stamp before quoting. Most of Ghost's info, albeit very helpful when KA first launched, it is obsolete now. Ghost is dearly missed.
@Officer Overlord... Ask Clementine for help as she's helping players get their CS tickets expedited now. :)

I wish it came sooner... I've been trying to move an account since September .... 4 continuous tickets... Unfortunately with the trials and stat inflation even if the transfer happens that toon is non-competitive
This is very annoying and very frustrating
Sorry Gree it sucks another account gone 😢

I now have 3 people stuck in limbo since purchasing new iPhones / iPads and attempting transfers - we have 3 people we have carries that can't score in battle or RB and 3 people that are starting to talk about quitting
I can't understand how this happens and it's infuriating that your help desk people don't do anything to help them after many weeks - staggering
I am trying to give them advice and hope but it seems that there will be no resolution
As somebody has said, with all the quests since they attempted a transfer - they are of the pace and by plenty
Please start to take this stuff seriously and at least communicate to these people in limbo so they have some hope - a message to say we are still on your case or something

You can still transfer between Devices if they are the same with iTunes like if you are transferring between ipad to ipad.just backup with iTunes but make sure that you encrypt backup otherwise will not work and then you can restore to new device.

When!!!? Have been playing for over two years and that is the same answer. "We are working on it." Words can't express how frustrating that is, to hear over and over again. What is Gree afraid of? There has been plenty of time to fix it.

I just upgraded from an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6+ and this worked great!

In order for Gree to manually transfer your game, please provide all of the following necessary information.(You may have already given part of this information, which is great!)
-The invite code of the game you want to keep (This 9 digit player ID can be found under your profile)
-The invite code of the NEW game coming up on your new device (should be around level 1 when you first install the app)
-As much info as you can remember about your old character (name, level, avatar, etc)
Gree need to verify your account for security purposes, so please also provide:
-Any copies of gold/gem/cash purchases made through iTunes or Google Wallet (you can attach these to the reply to this email)
-Recent in-game gold/gem purchases
-Your last login time
However, If you still have your old device, you can also easily transfer your games by doing the following:
Please sync/back up your account to either iTunes or iCloud. Next, sync your new device with either iTunes or iCloud and restore data.
When you open the game on your new device, you will be prompted to restore your data. Please click yes; you should now have your account restored to continue playing the game.
Please kindly note:
Gree is unable to transfer accounts between users as it is in violation of our Terms of Service. Section 8 of those terms which you agreed to upon downloading the game are as follows:
"You shall not rent, lease, sell, trade or otherwise transfer to anyone your Account or any virtual items or virtual currency associated with your Account."

When you make a backup of the old device you must check 'encrypt backup'. Else it will not transfer the character.

It's not 'how do I transfer my game' but 'Why does it take so long to have it transferred.'
We've been waiting a long, long time for a functionality that was restored for its sister games already months and months ago. There is a massive inconvenience of waiting a week or more at times for a transfer to occur, not to mention the frequent errors that seem to be made. It's why I haven't transferred since the in-game feature broke. So, this is more 'Please, for the love of everything holy and not, give us back a simply function so that we're not held captive by GREE's customer service anytime we buy a new device or want to transfer our games between existing ones.' Using iTunes to transfer it sometimes works, but even then, there are a lot of quirks and stuff that can put your character in limbo, or have it fail to transfer. It's not a 100% guaranteed method of success.
(Gotta read before you come and copy/paste stuff man)

KA, MW, and CC are getting a re-haul to this system. Hopefully, it will be out before the end of the year.
