Dark Castle Issues [Archive]

im sure this has been stated elsewhere by others, but half my guild doesn't have access to the quest portion of the Dark Castle. It had to be built through the Store, and those who did it this way did not receive the Materials Crate for finishing the build and cannot continue the quest. Please help.

I've received the Crate on all my games and I've upgraded to level 2, but on one game, I don't have the Dark Castle Quest chain, and I can't kill the mob for 2/20. I've sent in a ticket, but no reply yet.
Please help!

I have the same problem, like several other members of my guild. Would be great to get a heads up here so that we know what to do. Should all members send a ticket or will the problem be solved?

I'm on 5/20 so far. I have an iPhone 4s withiOS 7.? Also, I have the latest KA update.
Just being kind of silly, but the quest text is not gold. The quest is below and in blue.

Is there an timeline for when the building quest will show up? Over half my guild has the building built, but can't go any further. I have 5 profiles, on different devices, upgrades, and iOS. Only two of profile have quest, so it's not device, game upgrade, or iOS related. Please fix as this is unfair to many players who can complete the quest.

Sorry all, that was the best possible solution I could think of.
Next to asking if you've tried, delete ka and reinstall it. (it wouldn't be the first time one had to do this to fix a problem in KA)

Same here. Can't get dark quest chain 2/20. Cleared quests, completed trials, reinstalled. No 2/20. Other 2 games fine. Multiple people in my guild. Cry

Someone commented your only allowed 14 quests at one time. But when I finish an old quest the next in that chain shows up. NOT the dark castle

Same here I've got the same issue. I'll just continue to upgrade the Dark Castle and hope after EB over then will release some space for Dark Castle to kill mob.

No, it's a Boost building.... You can't have 2 of them! If you see that on a players map - report them for cheating!!

As long as you don't have the quest you can build the dark castle from your boost-buildings and upgrade it. It seems like the quest doesn't show up when you have too much open quests in your quest-list (14 seems to be the maximum). After finishing the daily trial I got the quest and could kill the mob from 2/20 - than got the reward for my already upgraded Castle and killed the mob for 4/20...
After that the new daily trial quest started and my dark castle quest was gone again... So I will kill the next mob after finishing the daily trial :)

CC had this problem a couple years ago: 10 was the max, but they eventually fixed it, took a while... not sure if there is a max now.

I had the LEB DC quest on 1 acct, built it and leveling it but no further quests, meh.
My second acct didn't have the quest or the building in the store until this morning... Still no quest, but I'm finally building it. I haven't checked my 3rd acct and my old main is still deleted since I cannot play it anymore on my 1st gen iPad: crashes too much or won't open/load. My accts that are still playable are committed to camping, 100% free-play.

I hope GREE is aware of the KA quest log problems.

I hope we will have time to finish the quest after the fix is implemented and it won't negatively impact the players who decided to just continue upgrading.

My issue is that I just used a bar and a half (of a out 1700 energy) for the lvl 6 mob and when I delivered the killing blow I got a "lost Internet connection" message, which meant that the kill did not count and I have to start over. Thanks Gree. I do not usually complain, but these mobs take forever to tap out, so this is a real pain.

The game is losing sync with the servers very, very easily ever since that crusty, steaming pile of version 2.5. What I've gotten into the habit of doing is right before I finish off any enemy, I make sure I've resynched my client with the servers by opening guild chat and then killing the enemy.

It's a pain in the ass, but it's what you have to do to avoid being GREEed.

Would you rather have to kill 200 enemies with 10 health each? No? We have all been asking for single enemies with large health pools because it's less annoying.

Somehow it magically reappeared with me.

Didn't do anything, just came back on its own and some other standard quest is gone. So if it stays like this it is fixed for me? :p

It doesn't show up with the timed quests at the top. It shows down below mixed in with the "regular" quests. It's got a black background as well, just like the normal ones. I don't know if this means the LTB quest is untimed or if the timer is just hidden.

The "Hero of Hallow's Eve" quest shows as a "normal" quest as well, but when you tap on it, there is a timer at the top. No timer shows on the Dark Castle LTB quest, but I'm pretty sure it's just a hidden timer.

Killing mobs for the quest is new; I think it makes the quest more interesting. Not sure if the quest is limited, there is no timer but that doesn't mean there isn't one we can't see.

No, Crafting is not a part of the Dark Castle. And yes, Tadaaah said there would be more info on the crafting coming soon.

Yes, it is a mini acct without a good weapon.

Hey Vile - the health is correct (stupidly high, but correct)! Last boss 6/20 was over 26000 HP. So even with a stronger player & weapon it will take close to or over 100 hits :(

12/20 took around 75 hits for me. I've got 213HS and 284 attack from weapon and armor. Max hit is around 460 but I generally average 400 per hit. It isn't so bad.

I vary from 313 - 413 .. Most hits in the 300's which would explain the difference in hits :)

One day I will be stronger :) lol - back to trials I go :D

Wow, finally finished the little worm off for DC 2/20!

Did I miss DC 3/20?
My next quest is DC 4/20 which is another monster to kill. Idk if I should bother after reading the posts of future quests, yikes!

How does the building quest, the LEBQ, progress with the killing?
I feel like I'm randomly tapping with no end in mind.

@ Vile - 3/20 would have been to build castle to Next level - it goes "build/kill boss/ build/kill boss" until finished - bosses stay just as tough but require more energy. Have a pic of without costs or nrg will try to find

lol, I've been posting for years and still don't know how to get a pic on here, so no worries! :)

Would be nice to know if there is a DC time limit. With the monsters being so strong and G/LTQs & Trials running, I don't have the energy for these beasts between upgrades, but if it's not limited....
I'll SIT and ask.
I don't even want to add up the XP for a gazillion hits to kill these monsters.

I'm not sure I get the point to the build/kill/upgrade/kill/etc thing, but a quest is a quest!
