**Prizes seem to be the exact same as the last 3 Day 24hr iLTQ. I'm not crazy about more attack boost, but the def boost for prestige (3 days worth = +15% ground def) is alright. I'm actually considering sitting this LTQ out. Just hit the 10b attack club - stats snuck up on me quick! - I got GREE'd (thanks Foo Fighter haha). If I do end up doing this LTQ, it will probably be for the talismans, energy packs, and Prestige mode (ground def). If you are okay with your attack, I'd recommend what I just outlined above, or just going for talismans & energy packs. Overall, I'm rating this one red for now. If you are on the fence - sit it out.
**Keep in mind that if you sit it out, you are also missing out on folders. find a low xp target and harvest folders. (thanks Mav!)

Pre-staging is preparing the npc's to within one hit of killing them. I.e., if an npc takes 7 hits to kill, you 'pre-stage' it to 6/7.

oh man........ XP went 10 fold again. Finiishing prestige day 2 will give you 26k xp? What about day 3. Never have done that. Does that increase as well ?

OK. Just did a calc on XP......1,350 MORE TODAY than Day 1. Prestige started at 100, 103, 106, 109, etc....

Prestgaing was a strategy, from when Gree would release new NPCs a few days before an event and by doing all but the last hit you could save on gold Energy refills. Since your using energy & regen from before an event that normally would be wasted when your Energy stay at full, you could have a couple of days energy preloaded so you only need 1 hit to finish. Gree responded to this strategy by making you do multiple kills and releasing new NPCs just before events start.

Question...if player's Energy max is 6500 and his energy regen is 10,080 every 24, isn't there a limit to prestaging? To apply your logic, sitting out an LTQ would necessitate wasting extra energy, no?

The only other option is to spend Gold to purchase Energy Units to have a prepared reserve?

The goal is to NOT spend Gold, only as a last resort, no?

Would appreciate sage advice on this matter...

I wouldn't suggest sitting out a LTQ completely. Unless the new npc targets for the next LTQ are already in place. But even then I'd use some energy for temp boosts & and energy/stamina coupon in the goals. Thus between prestaging and collecting new temp boost tokens and all energy/stamina coupons you shouldn't fill with energy unless you want to.
Also keep in mind if you have enough energy to do those two things and you still have energy to burn focus on master Indy goals as this will produce the better prizes even if you don't finish it.
